What do you like best about the product?

We have used Katalon mainly to automate our web and api tests to avoid long hours of regression testing manually in our test environments before a release and using testops as a centralised location for all our test cases it is great value at the moment as like i said we are able to release more software due to the time its saving us

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing majorly to dislike - maybe just the fact that we have struggled with some Jira integration where certain fields do not pull through to testops

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is helping with our delivery time - because we no longer spend hours manually regression testing everything - this means we can release more features each sprint

What do you like best about the product?

Katalon's built-in features, AI Assistance & easy integrations with JIRA and DevOps, to mention a few. Our coverage using Katalon has been much faster, close to 8 to 10x. Most importantly, the support from the team is very good.

What do you dislike about the product?

The only downside I see is the price being a little high, but the features and support outweigh it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We’ve used other frameworks before, but with Katalon it’s much faster to maintain the code when changes come up. Most importantly, the CI/CD integration makes a big difference for us.

What do you like best about the product?

The low-code approach, ease of adoption, and ability to scale automation are the biggest strengths for me. Katalon supports multiple testing types in one platform and integrates well with CI/CD. KRE, reusable components and AI/self-healing capabilities also help make regression automation easier to manage at scale.

What do you dislike about the product?

Performance and stability with large regression suites could be improved. Licensing costs when scaling execution can also be a challenge, and I’d like to see further improvements in debugging and self-healing capabilities.

Katalon is helping us reduce manual regression effort and scale automation across teams. The Katalon AI Service is particularly valuable, with capabilities such as AI-assisted test creation, failure analysis and AI self-healing helping reduce test development and maintenance effort. We are also exploring the AI Assistant and MCP capabilities to make automation more intelligent and efficient. Overall, it helps us improve coverage, accelerate feedback and increase confidence in release

I like the unified platform for web, API, mobile, and desktop automation. Its intuitive, easy-to-use interface, customizable scripting, detailed reporting, and seamless CI/CD integration make creating and running tests simpler. It reduces the overall automation effort while remaining flexible enough to handle complex test scenarios.

What do you dislike about the product?

Better performance, more reliable desktop automation, improved debugging, and enhanced handling of dynamic UI elements would make the platform even better.

Katalon True Platform has streamlined our automation process by providing a single solution for web, API, and desktop testing. It has reduced manual effort, improved regression test coverage, simplified test execution and reporting, and helped us deliver releases more quickly with greater confidence in product quality.

What do you like best about the product?

We have used Katalon extensively and it good as a low code tool. Very helpful for beginners who are not that good in coding or those who are into manual testing.

What do you dislike about the product?

Use more A.I. and make it code less something like TOSCA. Supporting desktop applications will also add value. We struggled with sap applications

Not much effort in developing framework for automation. We can start scripting almost from day 1

nothing as such as of now. All is working as expected.

Katalon is very easy to get started with and significantly reduces the ramp-up time for test automation. I like that it supports web, mobile, and API testing in one platform. The combination of keyword-driven testing and scripting with Groovy makes it accessible for both non-technical testers and more advanced automation engineers.

What do you dislike about the product?

Performance can sometimes be an issue in large or complex projects. Dependency management and upgrades could be smoother, and advanced use cases are not always well covered in the documentation.

Katalon helps reduce manual testing effort, especially for regression testing, and speeds up test execution cycles. It enables teams with different skill levels to contribute to automation and improves overall test coverage for web applications and APIs.

A little heavy to use, the computer slows down a bit;
Pricing, that forces the companies to limit the number of licenses they acquire.

Support more junior quality teams, that don't have implementations skills, like Java, and implement test cases really fast.

I would like in katalon studio still i noticed personally it's very speed execution with best quality and it's saving our more time and efficiency , over all great experience

What do you dislike about the product?

For example : I have noticed one thing during running test cases in between failed the specific test cases there showing in logs only elements not found but actual why that case failed details logs and video attachment is missing , i suggest better add video attachment too it will help to understand the where test case failed and why test case failed.
