User-Friendly Reverse Proxy with Great Templates, But Custom Setups Can Be Tricky

    Reviewed on Oct 20, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
This is a reverse proxy that features an easy-to-use and clean web UI. I find it very useful, and it offers templates for most applications, which makes setup much simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you try to proxy a custom service, it can be quite challenging to find the correct configuration. It's not as straightforward as it might seem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform allows for the management of virtual services and also has high availability features (2 virtuale appliance)

Powerful Features and Flexible Deployment, but UI Needs Improvement

    Reviewed on Oct 16, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Strong feature set: includes things like layer-4/7 load balancing, SSL/TLS offloading, content switching, compression, caching, etc.
Flexible deployment & licensing: works as hardware appliance, virtual, in cloud; pooled licensing helps adapt to demand.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI / UX could be more modern and intuitive; some advanced configs are hard to find or understand. Logging, analytics & real-time traffic visibility aren’t as rich as competitors; often have to export to external tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensures application availability (servers can fail, traffic is rerouted) so websites/apps stay online.

Load Balancers just work - without issues.
    Configuration options are quite reach.
Vendor support is great - the best I know of.
What do you dislike about the product?
Log management (especially for WAF) is not easy.
No multidomain support for pre-auth SSO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use LoadMaster as load balancers and reverse proxy (sometimes with pre-auth and integrated WAF)
They do the job without issues.
