SkySaver Cloud Portal is an AWS cost optimization platform that provides resource scheduling, spend visibility, and cleanup automations for teams managing non-production environments across multiple accounts.
SkySaver Cloud Portal helps DevOps engineers, cloud architects, and FinOps teams reduce non-production AWS spend through unified resource scheduling, interactive cost dashboards, and automated cleanup - all from a single intuitive portal at portal.skysaver.io. Manage multiple AWS accounts in one place without deploying and maintaining separate CloudFormation stacks for each service type.
Why Teams Choose SkySaver
Organizations running development, staging, and test workloads across multiple AWS accounts often pay for resources that sit idle during evenings, weekends, and holidays. SkySaver consolidates scheduling, cost visibility, and optimization actions so teams can reclaim that spend without juggling native tools individually. If you would like to see SkySaver in action before subscribing, contact the team at portal.skysaver.io to request a personalized demo or savings estimate for your environment.
Security and Data Handling
SkySaver takes cross-account access seriously. The IAM role you deploy follows a least-privilege design, requesting only the permissions necessary to read cost data and manage the specific resource types you choose to schedule (EC2, RDS, Lambda, ASGs, S3). All communication between your AWS accounts and the SkySaver platform is encrypted in transit using TLS. Cost and usage metadata collected by the platform is encrypted at rest and stored securely. SkySaver does not access or store your application data - only the metadata required for scheduling and cost analysis.

Cost Visibility and Insights
Interactive Cost Dashboard: Quick insights into top spend drivers across all connected AWS accounts
Cost Explorer View: Deep-dive breakdowns with cost allocation tag analysis
Optimization Recommendations: Access both AWS-provided and expert recommendations tailored to your environment
Multi-Account Management: View and compare spend across your entire organization from a single pane of glass
Resource Scheduling
Stop paying for non-production resources when nobody is using them. SkySaver provides unified scheduling for multiple AWS services from one portal:
EC2 Instances: Automatically stop dev and test instances during evenings and weekends, start them before work begins
Lambda Functions: Control provisioned concurrency based on predictable traffic patterns, avoiding costs during idle periods
Auto Scaling Groups: Scale down ASGs to minimum levels during off-peak hours and scale back up before demand increases
RDS Instances: Schedule non-production databases to stop overnight, capturing savings on compute costs
Automated Cleanup and Optimization
Run automations that analyze your environment and generate actionable reports:
S3 Intelligent Tiering: Apply S3 Intelligent Tiering (Instant Access Tiers only) across accounts with tag-based exclusions
Unused ENI Discovery: Find Elastic Network Interfaces not attached to any resources, helping identify unexpected spend from Elastic IPs
Unused Security Group Finder: Identify unused security groups to clean up lingering network permissions
How SkySaver Differs from Native AWS Tools
While AWS provides individual tools like Instance Scheduler and Trusted Advisor, SkySaver combines multi-service scheduling, cost visualization, and automated cleanup in a single portal with an intuitive interface. There is no need to deploy separate CloudFormation stacks for each service type or navigate between multiple AWS consoles.
Billing and Evaluation
SkySaver Cloud Portal uses metered billing through AWS Marketplace. You are billed based on your usage with no long-term commitment required - cancel at any time. Highlights
Unified multi-service resource scheduling from one portal: Create and manage schedules for EC2 instances, Lambda provisioned concurrency, Auto Scaling Groups, and RDS instances through an intuitive web interface at portal.skysaver.io. Instead of deploying and maintaining separate CloudFormation stacks per service, configure all schedules in one place - automatically stopping non-production resources on evenings and weekends and starting them before work begins.
Cost visibility with actionable optimization recommendations: Access an interactive dashboard showing top spend drivers across all connected AWS accounts, deep-dive cost explorer views with cost allocation tag analysis, and both AWS-provided and expert optimization recommendations tailored to your specific environment. Manage multiple AWS accounts from a single pane of glass to identify savings opportunities across your entire organization.
Automated environment cleanup with actionable reports: Run specific automations including S3 Intelligent Tiering application (Instant Access Tiers) with tag-based exclusions, unused Elastic Network Interface discovery to find unexpected spend from Elastic IPs and free VPC space, and unused Security Group identification to remove lingering network permissions no longer needed.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract pricing combines subscription tiers with usage-based dimensions. You choose a base subscription: Basic, Pro, or Enterprise. Pro and Enterprise include more built-in usage for teams with more accounts or resources. On top of the tier, pricing scales with hourly counts of users, AWS accounts, and tracked resources (EC2, RDS, Lambda, and Auto Scaling Group resources tagged for scheduling). Additional usage dimensions bill for actions taken on scheduled resources, triggered automation runs, Cost and Usage Report imports, and Cost Explorer queries. You pay for the subscription plus the usage you consume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a tracked resource for billing on EC2, RDS, Lambda, or Auto Scaling Groups?
A tracked resource is any EC2, RDS, Lambda, or Auto Scaling Group resource carrying the Scheduler Tag. Each tagged resource counts individually and bills per hour. Resources without the Scheduler Tag do not count. You control which resources are tracked by applying or removing the tag.
How do the subscription tiers and usage dimensions combine on my bill?
You pay a base subscription (Basic, Pro, or Enterprise) plus usage charges. Pro and Enterprise include built-in usage allowances. Usage dimensions bill separately: hourly counts of users, accounts, and tracked resources, plus per-event charges for actions, automation runs, CUR imports, and Cost Explorer queries. All charges appear on one invoice.
Am I charged for resources that are stopped or no longer scheduled?
Tracked resource charges apply per hour to resources carrying the Scheduler Tag. Removing the tag stops that resource from counting. Action and automation charges apply per event, so no scheduling actions means no action charges. Underlying AWS costs for stopped resources fall outside this software's metering.
