The platform's core is its flexible dashboarding capability, featuring a suite of pre-built dashboards for at-a-glance insights into discipline, attendance, grades, and assessments. For unique requirements, authorized authors can easily create custom dashboards, pulling data from the district's Student Information System (SIS) and other third-party sources to build a holistic view of student performance. To foster collaboration and shared expertise, Mindex also connects these authors with their peers through an actively managed community of practice.
Beyond visualization, generative AI empowers educators with advanced tools. Users can ask questions of their data in plain English to receive instant answers through dashboard Q&A, or use the Scenarios feature to model "what-if" situations and predict potential outcomes. The AI can also create compelling "data stories" and executive summaries, transforming complex insights into easily digestible narratives. The price covers the standard suite of K-12 dashboards, giving you insight into areas like discipline, attendance, grades, and assessment results. There are no separate tiers or add-on dimensions to choose from. You pay one per-student rate under the contract term.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The fee applies per student in your district's enrollment. Each enrolled student record counts as one billable unit. Your total scales directly with the number of students you cover, so districts with larger enrollments pay proportionally more under the contract.
The base fee covers dashboards for discipline, attendance, grades, and assessment results. It also includes an At-Risk (Early Warning) dashboard that combines attendance, behavior, and academic performance data. Access uses role-based filtering, so users see only records their permissions allow.

Vendor refund policy
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with three (3) months' written notice. A party may also terminate for cause if the other materially defaults on an obligation and fails to cure the default within thirty (30) days of receiving written notice. If Mindex terminates due to Customer's breach, any prepaid service fees are non-refundable.
