FluidCloud is a patented Cloud Cloning platform that migrates infrastructure from Azure, GCP, OCI, VMware, and Nutanix to AWS in minutes by generating deployment-ready Terraform and state files.

    Overview

FluidCloud - The World's First Cloud Cloning Platform

FluidCloud enables organizations to clone, migrate, and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS from Azure, GCP, OCI, VMware, and Nutanix - in minutes, not months. Backed by multiple patents and $8.1M in seed funding, FluidCloud transforms infrastructure into a portable, strategic asset using a single-graph architecture that maps every resource, relationship, and cost across your entire estate.

Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Pleasanton, California, FluidCloud was engineered to solve cloud infrastructure lock-in. The platform requires no agents and uses read-only API connections to scan source environments, ensuring zero disruption to production workloads.

    Infrastructure-to-Terraform Conversion

    • Scan source environments across Azure, GCP, OCI, VMware, and Nutanix using agentless, read-only connections
    • Reverse-engineer infrastructure into deployment-ready Terraform with AWS state files
    • Map every resource, dependency, and configuration into a single queryable graph
    • Translate compute, networking, and security constructs for native AWS adoption
    • Enable point-in-time rollback and replay or fork any past state

    Migration Planning and Analysis

    • Visualize workload dependencies and environment-wide relationships before migration
    • Compare source and target designs to reduce migration risk and redesign effort
    • Provide source-to-destination cost analysis for informed decision-making
    • Sequence workloads for optimal cutover readiness
    • Reduce migration timelines by up to 70% compared to manual approaches

    Compliance Benchmarking

    • Evaluate source infrastructure against SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and PCI DSS benchmarks
    • Detect misconfigurations, control gaps, and compliance issues before migration
    • Compare source security posture with target AWS governance requirements
    • Prioritize remediation actions before deployment to strengthen governance

    Six Foundational Operations

FluidCloud supports six core operations from a single graph: Migrate, Clone, Recover, Optimize, Govern, and Provision. This unified approach eliminates the need for multiple point tools and provides consistent automation across your entire cloud lifecycle.

    How It Works

    1. Connect - Provide read-only API credentials for your source environment (no agents required)
    2. Scan - FluidCloud graphs your entire estate including resources, relationships, costs, tags, and policies
    3. Review - Explore the dependency graph and migration plan with source-to-AWS mapping
    4. Generate - Produce deployment-ready Terraform and state files for your target AWS environment
    5. Deploy - Execute the migration with full visibility and rollback capability

    Platform Requirements

    • Read-only IAM role or API credentials for source cloud environments
    • No agents required on source infrastructure
    • Supports infrastructure definition migration (compute, networking, security, storage configurations)
    • Metered pricing based on usage

    Why FluidCloud

    • Patented technology - Cloud Cloning backed by multiple patents for a differentiated approach
    • Speed - Minutes-level execution versus months of manual effort
    • Agentless - Zero footprint on source environments with read-only scanning
    • Single graph - One unified view with enriched cost, tags, usage, and policy data
    • Hourly capture - Full history retention with rollback to any point in time

    Highlights

    • FluidCloud's patented Cloud Cloning technology reverse-engineers entire cloud estates into a single queryable graph and generates deployment-ready Terraform with AWS state files - in minutes, not months. Unlike agent-heavy migration tools, FluidCloud uses agentless, read-only API connections with zero footprint on source environments. Supports Azure, GCP, OCI, VMware, and Nutanix to AWS migrations, reducing timelines by up to 70% compared to manual infrastructure-as-code refactoring.
    • Unified migration planning from a single graph that maps every resource, relationship, cost, tag, and policy across your source environment. FluidCloud visualizes workload dependencies, sequences migrations for optimal cutover, and provides source-to-destination cost analysis so teams make informed decisions before deployment. Hourly estate capture with full history retention enables rollback to any point in time and replay or fork of any past state for safe, predictable migrations.
    • Built-in compliance benchmarking evaluates source infrastructure against SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and PCI DSS frameworks before migration begins. FluidCloud detects misconfigurations, control gaps, and governance issues, then compares source security posture with target AWS requirements to prioritize remediation. This ensures workloads arrive on AWS already aligned with regulatory and organizational security standards, reducing post-migration audit risk.

    Pricing

FluidCloud - Cloud Cloning and Migration Platform for AWS

     Info
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator  to estimate your infrastructure costs.

    Dimensions summary

FluidCloud prices by the number of managed cloud resources you run. Three annual subscription tiers set your capacity: Starter covers up to 1,000 resources, Growth up to 5,000, and Enterprise up to 10,000. You pick the tier that matches your estate size, and each is billed as a yearly contract. If your usage passes the contracted tier's limit, the Additional Managed Resources dimension bills those extra resources on a usage basis. This lets you commit to a base capacity and pay for overflow only when you exceed it.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

A managed resource is any individual cloud item FluidCloud discovers and tracks in your estate graph. This includes compute instances, storage buckets, networks, IAM roles, KMS keys, and Kubernetes objects. Each resource node counts once, so a single account can hold thousands of countable resources across these classes.
When you exceed your tier's cap, the Additional Managed Resources dimension bills each extra resource on a usage basis. Only resources above your contracted limit are charged this way. Your base tier fee stays fixed, and the overage charge applies solely to the overflow count.
Each tier is a separate annual subscription covering a set resource ceiling: Starter up to 1,000, Growth up to 5,000, and Enterprise up to 10,000. You select one tier for the full year. Moving to a different tier changes your base subscription, not a per-resource add-on across your existing count.
