Phase 1 - Discover (Minutes): A FluidCloud engineer connects read-only to your VMware environment. The product inventories VMs, NSX, IAM, DR tooling, monitoring, compliance workflows, and shared services - building a live as-is graph in days, not weeks.
Phase 2 - Classify (1 Day): Workloads sort into rehost, relocate, refactor, retire, or hold-for-now buckets based on business criticality, dependency density, and migration risk.
Phase 3 - Compare (1 Day): All destinations - Azure VMware Solution, AWS EVS, Nutanix AHV, NC2 on AWS, public-cloud-native, Proxmox/KVM, and hybrid split estate - scored against the same estate model in hours, not weeks.
Phase 4 - Plan (1-2 Days): Full wave plan generated from the versioned graph and destination decision including landing-zone requirements, cutover sequence, validation gates, and rollback logic.

Getting Started After Subscribing
After subscribing through AWS Marketplace, you will receive a confirmation email with access to the FluidCloud platform. A FluidCloud engineer will be assigned to your engagement and will schedule an onboarding call to initiate the read-only discovery connection to your VMware environment. You buy this platform as a contract based on how many resources you migrate. The three options are tiers set by resource count. Starter covers up to 1,000 resources. Growth covers up to 5,000 resources. Enterprise covers up to 10,000 resources. A resource means any item in your environment, such as a VM, network policy, or identity binding. Pricing scales with the size of the estate you plan to migrate. You pick the tier that fits your total resource volume. Larger environments move up to a higher tier.

What counts as one resource for billing purposes?
A resource is any single item in your environment that the platform maps into its dependency graph. This includes VMs, network policies like firewall rules, IAM bindings, service accounts, recovery plans, and backup groups. Each item counts individually, so the surrounding operating environment adds to your total beyond raw VM count.
What happens if my environment grows past the resource limit for my tier?
Each tier sets a ceiling: Starter up to 1,000, Growth up to 5,000, Enterprise up to 10,000 resources. If your estate exceeds your tier's limit, you move up to the tier that covers your total resource count. Pick the tier that fits your full estate before you start.
Does the resource count include only VMs, or also networking and identity items?
It includes both. The platform reads VMs plus the surrounding operating environment as one graph. That covers network fabric like segments and firewalls, identity items like role grants and service accounts, resilience items like recovery plans and backup groups, and monitoring rules. All of these add to your resource total.
