FluidCloud maps your live VMware estate as a portable dependency graph, compares destinations, and delivers execution-ready migration plans in two weeks.
Most VMware migrations fail not on VM motion but on the surrounding operating environment - NSX policies, IAM bindings, DR runbooks, backup topology, observability, and compliance evidence. FluidCloud reads your entire VMware environment as a live graph, scores destination portability, estimates costs, and produces execution-ready exit artifacts before renewal pressure forces a suboptimal decision.
How FluidCloud Works
FluidCloud delivers a productized workflow combining industry-defining software with a forward-deployed engineer. From live VMware estate to operational in a new destination in two weeks.
Phase 1 - Discover (Minutes): A FluidCloud engineer connects read-only to your VMware environment. The product inventories VMs, NSX, IAM, DR tooling, monitoring, compliance workflows, and shared services - building a live as-is graph in days, not weeks.
Phase 2 - Classify (1 Day): Workloads sort into rehost, relocate, refactor, retire, or hold-for-now buckets based on business criticality, dependency density, and migration risk.
Phase 3 - Compare (1 Day): All destinations - Azure VMware Solution, AWS EVS, Nutanix AHV, NC2 on AWS, public-cloud-native, Proxmox/KVM, and hybrid split estate - scored against the same estate model in hours, not weeks.
Phase 4 - Plan (1-2 Days): Full wave plan generated from the versioned graph and destination decision including landing-zone requirements, cutover sequence, validation gates, and rollback logic.
Phase 5 - Execute (5-7 Days): Endpoint updates run against the FluidCloud-generated plan covering connection strings, IAM bindings, DR pointers, monitoring agents, and runbook updates.
What FluidCloud Captures Beyond VMs
A VM can be moved and still not be operational. FluidCloud captures the surrounding context that determines whether a workload can actually run, recover, comply, and be operated in its next environment:
VM and Workload Layer: VM definitions, clusters, templates, boot order
FluidCloud keeps your cloud options open even after migration. The estate model is destination-independent, so you do the analysis once and reuse it across AVS, AWS EVS, NC2, Nutanix AHV, cloud-native, Proxmox/KVM, and hybrid paths. A credible exit-readiness changes the procurement conversation because alternatives stop being theoretical.
AWS Integration
FluidCloud supports AWS EVS and EC2 hybrid destinations for AWS-centered organizations seeking continuity plus phased modernization. Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS enables VMware-to-AWS migrations preserving VM-centric operations while moving onto AWS infrastructure. The platform's Cloud Cloning technology and APIs integrate with partner tooling to execute destination-specific migration steps.
Proven Results
10,000+ VMs moved on deadline
8 public clouds supported
SOC 2 Type II compliant
70-90% faster migration timelines
Product Capabilities
Dependency Graph: Captures VM inventory, network fabric, identity, security boundaries, app dependencies, DR posture, backup topology, and operational workflows
Destination Comparison Engine: Scores exit paths across cost, compatibility, operational change, migration complexity, and strategic flexibility
Wave Planning Workflow: Creates migration waves using dependency order, business criticality, target readiness, and validation gates
Validation and Evidence Layer: Produces cutover readiness, rollback posture, operational gaps, and board-ready exit artifacts
APIs and Partner Execution Layer: Lets internal teams, SIs, CSPs, and partner tooling consume the graph and execute migration steps
Start with an exit assessment: live estate discovery, dependency graph, workload classification, destination shortlist, and executive-ready exit-readiness brief.
Highlights
FluidCloud maps your live VMware estate as a portable dependency graph capturing VMs, NSX policies, IAM bindings, DR runbooks, backup topology, monitoring rules, and compliance workflows. This goes far beyond VM inventory to surface the operational dependencies that actually determine whether workloads can run, recover, and comply in a new environment. Discovery connects read-only and builds the live graph in minutes, not weeks of documentation review.
Compare seven destination paths in parallel - Azure VMware Solution, AWS EVS, Nutanix AHV, NC2 on AWS, public-cloud-native, Proxmox/KVM, and hybrid split estate - all scored against the same estate model across cost, performance, operations, compliance, and risk. Destination independence means you do the analysis once and preserve optionality rather than locking into a vendor before understanding your estate.
From live VMware estate to operational in a new destination in two weeks. FluidCloud has moved 10,000+ VMs on deadline with 70-90% faster migration timelines. The platform is SOC 2 Type II compliant and supports 8 public clouds. Proprietary Cloud Cloning technology enables highly accelerated and safe cutovers by cloning NSX-T policies to destination constructs, preventing the incidents that derail traditional migrations.

Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.

You buy this product as a contract sized by the number of resources you plan to migrate. The three options scale by resource capacity: Starter covers up to 1,000 resources, Growth covers up to 5,000 resources, and Enterprise covers up to 10,000 resources. Resources include items like virtual machines, network policies, and identity bindings across your environment. Pick the option that matches your estate size. All three deliver the same migration workflow; they differ only in the resource count each one supports.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one resource for billing purposes?
A resource is any item captured in your environment graph. This includes virtual machines, network fabric policies, identity and role bindings, recovery plans, backup groups, and monitoring rules. Each item counts individually. A single virtual machine and its attached network policy count as separate resources toward your total.
What happens if my estate has more resources than my option covers?
Each option supports a fixed resource ceiling: 1,000 for Starter, 5,000 for Growth, and 10,000 for Enterprise. If your estate exceeds the option you buy, you would need the option that matches your resource count. The tiers do not automatically expand mid-contract. Size your estate before selecting.
Does the contract cover the migration execution, or only the software?
The contract is sized by resource count for the migration workflow. FluidCloud provides the productized intelligence layer that discovers, classifies, compares, and plans. Execution of endpoint updates can run through your internal teams, FluidCloud services, or certified partners, depending on your setup.
