    What do you like best about the product?
    I like Waydev for providing clear visibility into our engineering organization's performance. It helps us track development activities across repositories, monitor pull request merge time, and calculate team velocity effectively. The clear quantifiable DORA matrix numbers give us great insights to cut down hidden bottlenecks. The ease of integration is a huge win, and onboarding was smooth. Once everything is set up, we get a dashboard out of the box that provides a top view of project performance, plus the ability to create custom dashboards. The dashboard also eliminates the need for manual calculations and reporting, allowing us to make actionable decisions more quickly. Adding users from the dashboard was straightforward, and we were good to go without much delay.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    At first AI summary took enormous time to load and didn't provide much information.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    I use Waydev to gain visibility into our engineering performance, track activities, and calculate team velocity. It provides quantifiable DORA metrics to identify bottlenecks and the dashboard enables quick, actionable decisions without manual reporting.

    What do you like best about the product?
    We've been using Waydev on regular basis for about two years, mainly for engineering analytics and performance insights. The platform provides excellent visibility into engineering operations — from DORA metrics to PR-related insights — giving a holistic understanding of team performance and development flow. The Waydev team is very supportive, responsive to feedback, and proactive in helping us get the most out of the product. Integration with our existing tools was smooth, and the overall setup process was straightforward. Overall, Waydev has been a valuable tool for driving data-informed conversations and improving visibility into our engineering processes. Recommended for teams looking to gain actionable insights into developer performance and workflow efficiency.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    One area that could use some improvement is the Developer Experience (DevEx) surveys — they still feel a bit raw and could benefit from more flexibility and depth. Also, the number of available metrics can feel overwhelming at first, though it becomes manageable once you focus on what really matters to your team.
    I’d also love to see more flexible dashboards that allow combining tangible data with subjective insights (for example, using the SPACE framework). In case of many integration, contributors management may be a bit more time consuming than it could be.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Waydev helps us turn engineering activity into clear, actionable insights. It bridges the gap between day-to-day development work and business visibility by tracking DORA metrics, PR activity, and team performance trends. This enables us to make data-driven decisions, identify bottlenecks early, and improve processes in systematic manner. It’s been especially valuable for fostering more objective, transparent discussions around productivity and team health.

    What do you like best about the product?
    In healthcare software, deadlines aren't just business goals, they're tied to regulations approvals. Waydev's weekly summaries have been a lifesaver for keeping tabs on progress without breathing down the dev team's necks.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    I wish we could pull historical data from further back to compare older projects.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    We catch delays early now. If a review is stalled or someone is overloaded, we see it right away and fix it. That's helped us hit release dates more consistently and keep compliance docs in order.

    Easy to use
    Gives you an insight on most of the required metrics
    Team is very supportive and helps in onboarding
    Though the documentation is not very detailed but the team is working towards it
    Quite easy to integrate it with git

    Sometimes might require updates from the engineers at Waydev
    Permission sets need more work and follow industry standards

    What do you like best about the product?
    The automated emails that share the key information about the teams performance. It can be difficult to stay on top of all the metrics that matter to the team, but the emails remove that cognitive load.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Getting up-to-speed on how to best leverage waydev took more time than anticipated.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    It collects and organizes the data that matters to me. It can be difficult to stay on top of all the requirements behind managing a large software team, however the automate emails with key metrics allows me to set it and forget it.
