Overview
Chaos Gears Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) are AI engineers who sit with your business and IT teams and turn a concrete business problem into agentic AI running in production, in your own AWS account. Each FDE works in a pair with a Domain Champion from your side: the person who knows how the work really runs today and who owns the result after handover. Together they map the process, remove handoffs and waiting time, decide which steps belong to code, to an AI agent or to a human, and build the new workflow on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. You buy a measured business outcome (cycle time, throughput, cost per case), and every engagement ends with a written handover, so your team runs and extends the solution without us. Chaos Gears can run the engagement end-to-end (partner-led) or embed FDEs into an existing customer, AWS or partner delivery team (partner-augmented).
Every engagement follows the same playbook. Discovery (around 2 weeks) shadows people, mines process data and picks the processes where work changes hands most often. Then each process goes through six steps: Map, Redesign, Sort (code, model or human?), Baseline (KPIs measured before anything is built), Build (first in shadow mode next to the current process) and Hand over. A single process build-out takes around 10 working days and is re-measured 2 weeks after go-live. FDEs bring a library of reusable IP: discovery questionnaires, industry playbooks, use-case blueprints and agent harnesses (agent scaffolding, MCP tool integrations, evaluation sets, guardrails and observability). The library grows with every engagement, so the second process is faster and cheaper than the first. Software-heavy parts are delivered with the AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) using Kiro and Claude Code. Typical scope areas: agentic transformation of back-office and customer-facing processes, intelligent document processing, internal AI assistants on company knowledge, and AI-DLC adoption in engineering teams.
The solution is built on AWS services: Amazon Bedrock (Anthropic Claude, Amazon Nova and other Bedrock models, picked per step for quality, latency and cost), Amazon Bedrock AgentCore (Runtime, Gateway, Memory, Identity, Observability), Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases, Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, Amazon Bedrock Data Automation, Amazon Quick, Kiro, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon OpenSearch Service, Amazon Textract, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS IAM Identity Center, AWS KMS and AWS CDK. Claude models are consumed through Amazon Bedrock on your existing AWS bill, with inference in the AWS Region you choose (including EU Regions) and no training on your data. Chaos Gears is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner with AWS Competencies in AI (Generative AI and Agentic AI Applications), Data and Analytics, Migration, DevOps, Networking and Security, and an Anthropic partner at Select tier in the Claude Partner Network. Our Data & AI practice (20+ engineers, with a dedicated FDE track) has shipped agentic AI to production for customers in manufacturing, insurance, financial services and healthcare. Chaos Gears is ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certified. Engagements are transacted as private offers on AWS Marketplace with fixed scope, milestones and KPIs agreed upfront; a typical engagement is a 2-week discovery followed by 4 to 14 weeks of process build-outs.
Highlights
- Engineers who sit with your team and ship. Chaos Gears Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) pair with a Domain Champion from your business, redesign one process at a time and put agentic AI into production in your own AWS account. Each process build-out takes around 10 working days, with KPIs baselined before the build and re-measured 2 weeks after go-live.
- Reusable IP, so every next process is faster. FDEs start from Chaos Gears playbooks, industry use-case blueprints and agent harnesses (MCP tool integrations, evaluation sets, guardrails, observability) built on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Anthropic Claude on Amazon Bedrock, Kiro and Amazon Quick. Software-heavy work follows the AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC).
- Delivered by an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner with AWS Competencies in AI (Generative AI and Agentic AI Applications), Data and Analytics, Migration, DevOps, Networking and Security, and an Anthropic partner at Select tier. ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certified. Partner-led end-to-end or embedded in your existing AWS or partner delivery team.

Chaos Gears responds to every buyer inquiry within two business days. After a private offer is accepted, we assign a dedicated FDE Lead and an AI Architect who own delivery from discovery to production handover, plus FDEs for each process build-out. During the engagement, customers get working-hours support Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 CET, through email and a shared Slack or Microsoft Teams channel, with response SLAs written into the Statement of Work. FDEs also join your team rituals (stand-ups, demos, reviews) for the duration of the engagement.
Post-launch support included with every engagement: monitoring of agent quality, cost and KPIs during the re-measurement period, bug fixes on Chaos Gears-delivered code during the warranty period, and guidance on tuning prompts, tools, guardrails and model choice. Extended managed services (24/7 on-call, new processes on the same platform, model and prompt upgrade cycles, change requests) are available through a follow-on private offer.
For issues with underlying AWS services, Chaos Gears coordinates escalation with AWS Support on the customer's behalf, as an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner.
