Overview

Centric has an established track record of assisting clients in the Energy and Utilities space, ensuring that the Well-Architected Review process is tailored to your needs and can support all your key production workloads on AWS.

Our Well-Architected review and remediation process provides the insights your organization requires to baseline your AWS infrastructure and safeguard your key applications through our tailormade approach. Using the AWS Well-Architected Framework as a model, we offer insight into your workloads as well as step-by-step guidance to a better, more cost-efficient cloud when you need it.

Our Approach

Step 1: Discovery Before we undertake any review, our AWS Solution Architect and Energy and Utilities lead will schedule an introductory call to discuss with your stakeholders the workloads in scope and understand both the infrastructure as well as the business purpose to maximize the review time and anticipated outcomes. Leveraging our unique industry expertise, we will also make recommendations on common best practices and trends.

Step 2: Well-Architected Review Workshop Our AWS Certified Solutions Architects leverage their expertise to undertake a deep-dive review into the performance of your existing AWS workloads through a half-day collaborative workshop. During this workshop, the Centric cloud architects will perform a deep dive into your landing zone and workload configurations.

Step 3: Report Development + Findings Presentation + Next Steps From our discovery, workshop, and environment review, we then develop an action plan with you to carry out recommended remediations. This report will include the recommendations sorted by priority and impact, associated levels of effort, dependencies, high-level costs, and anticipated timeline.

Once an action plan is agreed upon, we will also assist you in applying for $5,000 of AWS service credits* to offset against the costs of Centric carrying out the recommended improvements or remediation work.

Core Benefits of the AWS Well-Architected Review • Reduce potential security and compliance risks • Support faster build and deployment timeframes • Improve reliability and availability of AWS services • Ensure consistency and reduce redundancies across your cloud strategy • Reduce potential costs and identify organizational efficiencies • Support a continuous improvement approach within your organization
