An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Credentials Username: ubuntu Password: Use your Instance ID (For example, i-0ed22c467985149e1c). This password is applicable for RDP, and VNC connections.
- SSH Connection
- SSH to the instance public IP and login as 'ubuntu' user using the key specified at launch time. Use 'sudo -i' in order to get a root prompt.
- RDP Connection
- Step 1: Use a Remote Desktop client (e.g., Windows' built-in Remote Desktop Connection or other third-party clients).
- Step 2: Enter the public IP address of the instance and the RDP port 3389.
- Step 3: Log in with the username ubuntu and password your Instance ID.
- VNC Connection
- Step 1: Use a VNC client (e.g., RealVNC, TightVNC).
- Step 2: Enter the public IP address of the instance and the VNC port 5901.
- Step 3: Log in with the username ubuntu and password your Instance ID.
Mixing vnc and xrdp may cause problems. It is recommended to choose one of them.
