You pay by the hour based on the AWS EC2 instance type you choose to run Titan Syslog Server for Windows. Each dimension maps to a specific instance size, from small general-purpose types up to large compute-, memory-, and storage-optimized options. Larger instances carry a higher hourly rate to match their added CPU, memory, and throughput. This is usage-based, pay-as-you-go billing, so you only pay while an instance runs. Your total cost scales with the instance size you select and how many hours you keep it running. No upfront commitment applies to this hourly model.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit represent for Titan Syslog Server?
Each unit is one running AWS EC2 instance of the type you select. You are billed per hour that the instance runs. Larger instance types provide more CPU, memory, and throughput, so their hourly software rate is higher. Each separate instance you launch is metered independently.
Am I charged when a Titan Syslog instance is stopped or powered off?
The software rate meters running instance-hours only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage or other AWS resources tied to the stopped instance may still incur separate AWS fees, but the software licence bills only while the instance runs.
Does this hourly listing require an upfront commitment or contract term?
No. This is pay-as-you-go, usage-based billing with no upfront commitment. You pay only for the hours each instance runs and can stop at any time. This suits variable log-volume workloads where you want to scale instances up or down as needs change.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
