Overview
Titan DMZ is a reverse proxy server which offers a multi-layered security solution in conjunction with Titan MFT Server.
Titan DMZ is placed outside the firewall while the TItan MFT Server, data, configuration and other sensitive information lives inside. Titan opens a single outbound encrypted connection to the DMZ Server which then listens for client connections on behalf of the Titan MFT Server.
This configuration allows for 100% of the inbound ports on the firewall to be locked down, while still allowing secure file transfer to occur.
Highlights
- Titan DMZ works exclusively as a passthrough, no data is ever stored in the DMZ or outside the firewall
- Zero exposure of internal data and resources such as AD/LDAP, SQL, or NTFS information
- Allows for 100% of inbound ports to be closed on the firewall reduce or attack vectors

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Titan DMZ Server is fully configured and ready to run out of the box. Simply launch an instance of the AMI in AWS and Titan DMZ will start listening on port 45100. Next, configure your Titan MFT server (also in AWS) to connect to the DMZ's IP address and Titan DMZ will then listen for secure SFTP connections on behalf of the Titan Managed File Transfer (MFT) server.
Next, on a separate AWS VM, start an instance of Cornerstone MFT Server and enable DMZedge Support, pointing Cornerstone to the IP address of the DMZedge AMI. Cornerstone will negotiate a connection with DMZedge Server and the DMZedge will then be listening for secure SFTP connections on behalf of the hidden Cornerstone Server.
