AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract covers two pricing dimensions that work together. The Product Access dimension grants you access to the API as a subscriber. The Per API request dimension charges you for each API call you make. Your cost scales with usage: the more requests you send, the more you pay under the per-request dimension. Product Access sets the baseline for using the product, while per-request usage adds variable cost on top. Together they form a subscription plus usage-based structure under a single contract.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one API request for billing under the Per API request dimension?
Each call your system sends to the Optimize Coding List API counts as one API request. The count grows with every request, whether it returns a coding list, a code lookup, or another response. Requests are metered individually, so higher call volume means more charges under this dimension.
What does the Product Access dimension cover, and how does it combine with per-request charges?
Product Access grants you subscriber access to the API as a baseline. The Per API request dimension then adds variable cost based on call volume. Both charges appear on the same contract. Product Access is a fixed access charge, while per-request cost rises and falls with your actual usage.
If my API call volume increases, which dimension drives the change in my bill?
The Per API request dimension drives that change. Each additional request adds cost, so a rise in call volume raises this portion of your bill. The Product Access charge stays fixed regardless of how many requests you send. Higher usage affects only the per-request charges.
