An AWS Immersion Day delivered by T-Systems is an in-depth, hands-on training that provides attendees with the opportunity to work with AWS technologies and services in a live environment. These events are led by experienced, certified solution architects from T-Systems who provide guidance and assistance as attendees learn about various AWS services and solutions. As T-Systems is an accredited AWS Immersion Day partner all our instructors are highly trained and use a feedback loop/form for continuous improvements. 

AWS Immersion Days are designed to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the AWS platform and how it can be used to build and deploy cloud-based applications and solutions. The trainings may focus on specific AWS services or solutions, such as Security, Migration or Data Analytics, or may provide a more general overview of the AWS platform. During an AWS Immersion Day, attendees typically have the chance to work with AWS technologies and services through a series of hands-on exercises and lab sessions. These exercises and labs may involve building and deploying applications or solutions using AWS, as well as learning about best practices and common use cases for various AWS services. Before and in-between parts of the lab the instructor will deliver presentations with background information about the used services so that the participants know everything what is needed to successfully complete the lab.

AWS Immersion Days are typically targeted at developers, IT professionals, and other technical users who are interested in learning more about AWS and how it can be used to solve business problems. These events may be particularly useful for individuals or teams who are new to AWS or a particular service and want to gain a solid foundation in the platform, or for those who are looking to expand their knowledge and skills in specific areas of the AWS ecosystem. Another typical use case is that your team knows an open source product like Kubernetes or Elasticsearch already but now wants to get their hands on the respective AWS-managed service (here, Amazon EKS or AWS OpenSearch service).

An AWS Immersion Day delivered by T-Systems takes place either online or in an office location of the client or in one of our own offices. We recommend a group size of at least 5 people to drive collaboration among the participants. The time needed for an AWS Immersion Day varies depending on the scope and topics that shall be covered. One day normally is sufficient to dive deep on one topic and complete the respective labs. The lab environments are provided by T-Systems, so that every participant has a clean AWS account with pre-deployed resources as needed by the lab.
