Overview
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges are applied for the deployment of the application and AMI support and compliance. Secure AI Knowledge Workbench is a turnkey, self hosted document Q&A server for AWS. Launch a single Ubuntu EC2 instance and get a secure, production ready stack that connects to Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases, Amazon S3, and S3 Vectors to deliver grounded answers from your private documents; without building your own ingestion pipeline, API layer, or reverse proxy.
What it does Secure document ingestion: Upload PDFs and other files through a protected HTTPS API endpoint (or place files in S3), then automatically trigger ingestion into your Bedrock Knowledge Base.
Private by design storage: Your source documents are stored in an S3 bucket in your AWS account (not ours), with encryption and public access blocking supported.
Grounded Q&A: Ask questions through the API and receive answers generated using a Bedrock model, grounded in your ingested documents via Knowledge Bases retrieval.
Ready to run stack: Includes a preconfigured Docker-based application stack (Nginx + API + Redis) and a first-run setup flow designed for fast validation and easy testing.
Who its for Teams that want RAG style document Q&A on AWS without building custom infrastructure
AWS customers that need a simple, secure proof of concept for Bedrock Knowledge Bases
ISVs and internal platform teams that want a repeatable ingestion + Q&A pattern they can extend
