AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you choose to run this software. Each dimension maps to a specific instance size, so your rate scales with the compute capacity you select. The t2, t3, and t3a options cover general-purpose instances in large through 2xlarge sizes. The m3, m4, and matching m-series options add memory and vCPU capacity, ranging from xlarge up to 16xlarge. Pricing rises with instance size and family. You run the deployment on your own AWS account and are billed only for the hours the instance runs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly rate for each instance type actually cover?
The rate bundles the software licence with support and security services from the vendor. You pick an EC2 instance type, and that choice sets your hourly software charge. Larger instance families and sizes carry higher rates because they provide more vCPU and memory for the running deployment.
Am I charged the hourly software fee when the instance is stopped?
The software fee meters running hours only. When you stop the instance, the hourly software charge stops accruing. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume while stopped, but that is separate from this listing's software charge.
Do I need to install anything to unlock the monitoring and update features?
You deploy the virtual machine on your own AWS account, then connect it to the vendor's platform. That connection enables real-time monitoring, automated updates, and security services. Without connecting, you run the deployment but do not access those managed features.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
