The CrowdStrike platform delivers unified protection across endpoints and cloud workloads with AI-native Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Cloud Security. Falcon Cloud Security (FCS) extends this protection to cloud compute instances, container hosts, and managed containers. What do you like best about the product?
From a GRC perspective, it saves our team a lot of manual effort during audit preparation. The automated compliance mapping against frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST gives us clear visibility across our cloud environments, which makes it easier to understand where we stand and what needs attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating custom compliance policies and filtering out false positives took a bit of tuning during our initial setup. Executive-level reporting could also offer more customization, especially when presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WI solves our biggest audit headache: manual evidence collection and tracking configurations across multiple cloud environments. Before using it, preparing for an ISO 27001 audit meant endless manual checks and screenshots.

What do you like best about the product?
Brings a massive amount of content into one view. Being able to see cloud risks, vulnerabilities, attack paths, inventories, and runtime protection all in one place is great. Normally, you’d need several tools to get that same level of visibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
The IOA-generated rules can be very noisy and difficult to tune. We ended up recreating those rules in our SIEM instead, since it made tuning much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility into AWS, Azure, and Google all in one place. The documentation is clear and easy to follow.

The platform’s broad feature set and modular licensing can make the solution expensive and complex to deploy and operate.

Single-sensor architecture with elite threat intelligence, plus straightforward scaling across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It also offers automated discovery of cloud resources and solid container security.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels overly complex, with a steep learning curve, and I’m also concerned about the risks of running it at the kernel level.

I really like the robustness of CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security's platform. Its surface area detection is impressive, and the rapid updates in threat intelligence really make it stand out. I appreciate how it's on the cutting edge, especially when it comes to protecting us from new and emerging threats, like those propelled by AI. Plus, the initial setup was extremely easy, which was a huge plus for our team.

Contracting process can be very difficult buying through resellers.
