Ignition Cloud Edition combines the power of the most effective industrial software and the convenience of the world's most trusted cloud computing services. Cloud Edition is a cloud platform complement to extend your Standard Ignition on-premise platform. Purchased and installed through the AWS Marketplace, it's hosted on AWS' secure cloud platform and billed through AWS on a periodic basis for time used.
Use the Standard Ignition platform to rock low-code development of industrial applications like SCADA or MES, and to roll out scalable solutions with instantly web-deployed industrial and mobile clients across enterprises. Its supervisory capabilities connect all your data and allow you to monitor performance, control processes, and visualize data on custom dashboards. Standard Ignition's on-prem prowess also includes built-in data acquisition tools that help you connect PLCs, leverage Industrial IoT, and turn databases into historians.
Add Cloud Edition for even more cloud capabilities and the option to connect your data to analytics tools like Machine Learning. Extend your enterprise operations, leverage elastic architectures that scale easily, and host and deploy solutions on secure cloud platforms.

Dimensions summary
You pay for this product by hourly usage, with no upfront hardware commitment. Three separate meters combine to form your bill. The CPU Core Usage by Hour meter charges based on how many CPU cores your deployment consumes each hour. The Memory Usage by Hour meter charges based on the gigabytes of memory used each hour. The Base Usage by Hour meter applies a foundational hourly charge while the software runs. Because charges scale with the compute and memory you consume, your cost rises or falls as you scale instances up or down.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The CPU Core Usage by Hour meter counts the number of CPU cores your running container consumes each hour. The Memory Usage by Hour meter counts the gigabytes of memory used each hour. Both track live consumption on the Amazon EKS deployment, so resizing your container changes what each meter records.
Charges accrue only while the software runs. All three meters bill by the hour, so scaling down reduces the CPU core and memory charges as consumption drops. Stopping the instance stops software metering. Underlying AWS infrastructure fees, such as storage, may still apply separately.
The price covers a bundle of pre-installed Ignition modules and TotalCare Support with phone and web help. It includes MQTT and OPC-UA client/server functionality but no device drivers. Ignition Edge licenses and OPC UA drivers are sold separately. You can add extra third-party modules with a separate license key.
