Overview
Talend Connector for Atlan automates the discovery, extraction, and cataloging of metadata and end-to-end data lineage from Talend Data Integration and Talend Data Fabric projects into Atlan's data governance platform. Built on the Atlan Application SDK and orchestrated using Temporal workflows, the connector clones Talend project repositories from GitHub or accepts a context ZIP upload for offline analysis. It parses Talend project artifacts, including .item and .properties files, tMap transformations, control flows, joblets, reusable components, and context parameters, converting them into Atlan assets with detailed metadata and lineage relationships.
