This product has charges associated with it for providing dedicated seller support and OS-level hardening by Blume in line with ACSC ISM Secret compliance. The ACSC ISM Secret Oracle Linux 10 AMI delivers a compliance-ready operating system with stricter security controls designed for environments handling sensitive classified workloads.
This is a repackaged software product wherein additional charges apply for dedicated seller support and operating system hardening by Blume.
Our AMIs are specifically hardened to meet ACSC ISM Secret compliance, as defined in the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Information Security Manual (ISM). The ISM Secret level builds upon the Base level with more stringent configuration requirements designed for handling classified workloads that require heightened security assurance.
Controls at the Secret level include stronger access restrictions, advanced system auditing, enhanced encryption, and monitoring measures to minimize exposure to cyber threats and unauthorized access.
By adopting the ISM Secret level, organizations demonstrate compliance alignment with stricter Australian government security standards and can operate with increased confidence in protecting sensitive workloads.
Finally, our operating systems are not only compliance ready but are also consistently updated, ensuring that the latest security patches are applied in a timely manner to maintain protection and reliability in production environments.
Highlights
Blume has been established since 2020 and is a trusted brand relied upon by many large corporations for secure and compliant solutions.
This AMI is updated and compliance-ready out of the box, requiring no additional configuration steps to meet ACSC ISM Secret standards.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for each running instance, with no upfront commitment. The price you pay depends only on which AWS instance type you choose to run. All options use ARM-based (Graviton) instances, spanning families for general purpose, compute, memory, storage, and graphics workloads. Sizes range from nano and medium up to 48xlarge and bare-metal configurations. Larger instance types carry higher hourly rates, so cost scales with the compute, memory, and storage capacity you select. The hardened Oracle Linux 10 image and seller support apply the same across every instance type.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Am I charged for an instance that is stopped or paused?
The software is billed per running hour per instance. A stopped instance stops accruing hourly software charges. You still pay AWS for any attached storage while the instance exists. Charges resume when you start the instance again, with no upfront commitment.
What does the hourly rate for an instance type actually cover?
Each hourly rate pays for one running instance of that AWS instance type. It includes the hardened Oracle Linux 10 (ARM) image mapped to ACSC ISM Secret controls and seller support from Blume. The same image and support apply across every instance type you select.
Does running more instances change the per-hour rate for each one?
No. Each instance is billed independently at the hourly rate for its instance type. Running several instances multiplies the per-hour cost by the number running; it does not change each one's rate. Total cost is the sum of each running instance's hours.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes

Usage instructions
We recommend scoping your launched EC2 instance to only your internal network and restricting access to your own IP address for maximum security.
How to Connect to Your Oracle Linux 10 Instance Using SSH:
Locate your key pair: Ensure you have the .pem key pair file selected when launching the instance. Save it securely on your local machine.
Set permissions: Update the file permissions on the key file so it is not publicly viewable. Example: chmod 400 your-key.pem
Find the public DNS or IP: In the AWS Management Console, open the EC2 Dashboard and locate the Public DNS (IPv4) or Public IP of your instance.
Connect with SSH: From your terminal, run the following command, replacing your-key.pem with your key file and <public-dns> with your instance details: ssh -i your-key.pem ec2-user@<public-dns>
Accept the fingerprint: When prompted, confirm the fingerprint to establish the first-time connection.
You are now connected to your Oracle Linux 10 instance via SSH.
