Radware's Cloud DDoS Protection Service defends organizations against today's most advanced DDoS attacks. It combines behavioral-based detection for both network-layer (L3/4) and application-layer (L7) attacks, automatic real-time signature creation against zero-day threats, unique encrypted attack protection, and flexible cloud-based and hybrid deployment options to suit any environment.
Infrastructure DDoS Protection
Protects networks and infrastructure against L3/4 volumetric floods such as SYN, ICMP, and UDP floods. It also defends DNS infrastructure against DNS query floods, DNS amplification attacks, randomized subdomain ("water torture") attacks, and more.
Web DDoS Protection
Through the Cloud Web DDoS Protection add-on, Radware delivers an additional layer dedicated to detecting and mitigating sophisticated application-layer DDoS attacks. Advanced L7 behavioral-based detection and mitigation block Web DDoS Tsunami attacks and sophisticated HTTP/S floods that use randomization techniques to bypass traditional protections.
Global Coverage, Massive Capacity
Backed by a worldwide network of 23 scrubbing centers delivering 16 Tbps of mitigation capacity (and growing). Scrubbing centers are globally connected in full-mesh mode using Anycast-based routing, ensuring DDoS attacks are mitigated closest to their point of origin and providing truly global mitigation capable of absorbing even the largest volumetric attacks.
Flexible Deployment Options
On-demand, always-on, and hybrid deployment models to fit any network topology or threat profile.
SLA for Mitigation in Seconds
Committed SLAs to detect, alert, divert, and mitigate attacks, powered by advanced automation and predefined workflows. A broad set of additional services and metrics provides full visibility and control.
Emergency Response Team

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing sells three deployment models as separate contract units, each matched to a different traffic profile. The Hybrid Cloud DDoS Protection Service unit covers up to 2Gbps under attack, pairing on-premises and cloud mitigation. The On-Demand Cloud DDoS Protection Service unit covers up to 10Mbps legitimate traffic and diverts to the cloud only during volumetric attacks. The Always-On Cloud DDoS Protection Service unit also covers up to 10Mbps legitimate traffic but routes traffic through the cloud continuously. You choose the model that fits your topology, then buy the number of units your traffic level requires.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
How is a unit measured for the On-Demand and Always-On services, and what does the 10Mbps figure refer to?
Units for these two services are sized by legitimate traffic, up to 10Mbps of normal peacetime bandwidth. This is your clean, non-attack traffic level, not attack volume. You buy the number of units that matches your baseline traffic. Attack mitigation runs on top of that during volumetric events.
How does the On-Demand model differ from Always-On in how traffic is handled during normal operation?
On-Demand keeps traffic on your normal path and diverts to the cloud only when a volumetric attack is detected. Always-On routes all traffic through the cloud continuously. On-Demand suits environments sensitive to peacetime latency; Always-On suits those needing constant coverage without diversion triggers.
Why is the Hybrid unit measured in attack bandwidth (2Gbps) while the cloud units use legitimate traffic?
The Hybrid unit pairs an on-premises device with cloud mitigation, so it is sized by attack capacity, up to 2Gbps under attack. The On-Demand and Always-On cloud units carry no on-premises device, so they are sized by your legitimate traffic baseline instead. Each model measures the metric that drives its own cost.

Radware Bot Manager offers robust defense for web apps, mobile apps, and APIs against automated threats through layered defenses. It guards against various risks like account takeover, DDoS, web scraping, etc. The solution provides multiple mitigation choices, including the innovative Crypto Challenge, granting genuine users CAPTCHA-free access while thwarting bot assaults. It also secures native iOS/Android apps, ensuring swift protection against identity spoofing, tampering, and replay attacks, while blocking unauthorized access from emulators and modified systems.
I really appreciate the Radware Cloud DDoS Protection Service because of its AI threat protection and behavioral analysis capabilities. The working principle of this cloud service is pretty impressive for both small and medium businesses (SMBs) as well as large-scale environments. I like that it uses WAF, API protection, and bot mitigation at Layer 7 to detect any malicious activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost structure is quite expensive, especially since it's user-based. The initial setup and implementation are very complex, and there isn't any dedicated or publicly available documentation to guide new organizations. This can cause difficulties during the implementation phase. Also, the reporting part needs improvement to be more clear and informative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Radware Cloud DDoS Protection Service for bot mitigation, WAF, API protection, and Layer 7 security, safeguarding our consumer-facing portals. It uses AI and behavioral analysis, making it impressive for both SMBs and large-scale environments.

Multilayer DDoS protection with real-time detection and high scrubbing capacity
Reviewed on Mar 09, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Radware Cloud DDoS service is its multi-layer protection approach, both at the application layer level and in mitigating layer 3 and layer 4 attacks. Additionally, it has the ability to detect anomalous patterns in real-time thanks to its behavior-based detection algorithms, which facilitates the identification of more advanced attacks. Similarly, I highlight the large number of scrubbing centers they have and their ability to absorb large-scale volumetric attacks. Having this type of rapid scaling for a company is essential.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like that the Defense Pro teams are somehow limited to 50 in the number of policies and security profiles. This leaves me limited if I have more public IPs to protect, as I need to be able to establish a policy for each public IP, which is the most granular way to protect my assets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being in the financial sector, it is essential for me to have this solution, as my most critical services must always be available to my clients, not only for regulatory reasons but also because of the responsibility and trust my clients place in my service. All the IPs and services I have published are, in one way or another, kept protected against various types of attacks to which my applications are usually exposed. The Radware DDoS solution benefits me greatly because it allows me to establish several protection parameters over my assets; moreover, I can define how the tool should behave automatically if it detects suspicious behavior, which makes this solution quite autonomous and independent in certain scenarios.
