CyGlass policy controls and reporting cover NIST800-53, NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO-27001, GDPR, and UK Cyber Essentials as part of our defense service. CyGlass security controls, dashboards, and reports enable continuous compliance with regulations and supply chain standards. CyGlass NDaaS is a 100% AWS cloud-native platform that requires no hardware, deploys in under an hour, and reduces the total cost of ownership by upwards of 66% over traditional hardware-based NDR tools and SIEMS. Dimensions summary
You buy this network detection and response service on a per-user basis. Two contract dimensions set your commitment length. NDAAS TIER 1 charges per user across a 1-year term. NDAAS TIER 3 charges per user across a 3-year term. Both scale with the number of users you license, so your cost rises as you add users. The difference between them is the commitment period you choose. Pick the 1-year term for a shorter commitment, or the 3-year term to lock pricing over a longer period. You pay upfront for the full contract.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You pay per user for network detection and response coverage across your environment. Each licensed user account represents one billable unit. Your total cost equals your per-user rate multiplied by the number of users you license. Contact the vendor to confirm how user counts map to your specific setup.
Both contract terms bill per user, so your cost rises with each added user. As your user base grows, your cost per user decreases. This means larger deployments benefit from a lower rate applied across the licensed users.
The service analyzes network activity, NetFlow or flow logs from switches, routers, and firewalls, DHCP logs, cloud workload flow logs, and application logs. It detects lateral movement, command-and-control traffic, and anomalies. Response actions include blocking IP addresses, isolating devices, and disabling user accounts. Both contract terms include these capabilities.
