Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
Tembo uses a usage-based contract model with two dimensions. Tembo Cloud Usage charges for your monthly use, and annual contracts are available. The additional dimension covers usage beyond your committed amount. Your usage allowance is dollar-denominated. It covers model token usage through Tembo Gateway and the compute and runtime of cloud VMs your sessions use. Compute is only charged while a VM runs, and metered by the second. The additional dimension applies when your use exceeds the base allowance, so you pay more only as consumption grows.

Your allowance covers two things: model token usage through Tembo Gateway and the compute and runtime of cloud VMs your sessions use. If you bring your own API keys or a supported model subscription, that provider handles model usage. Cloud VM compute still draws from your Tembo allowance.
No. Compute is only charged while a VM is running, and it is metered by the second at the equivalent per-hour rate. Stopped and snapshotted VMs do not accrue compute charges. Larger VM sizes draw more from your allowance per running hour.
Usage within your committed amount draws from the Tembo Cloud Usage dimension. When consumption passes that amount, the additional dimension applies and charges for the overage. You pay more only as your consumption grows, so cost scales with actual use.

What do you like best about the product?
Tembo allows you to pay money into your savings goals by using Mobile Money, as well as Visa/Mastercard cards. Tembo provides a managed, metered software-as-a-service Postgres service as well as self-hosted software to set up and orchestrate Postgres databases

High costs: Commercial software can be expensive to build, maintain, and scale.

What do you like best about the product?
Best for organizing everything in one place. It supports team collaboration and made it much easier than ever. Their UI platform is very intuitive, ramping up a fresher is so much easy. Managing DB is a lot quicker and less cumbersome. Their support for a variety of extensions and stacks is quite useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Restricted only to AWS is a great downside to Tembo. Looking forward to much more integration support. Need to study a lot of basics to utilize this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the software to monitor the performance with Postgres tools. It allows scaling the DB for cloud deployments and manage complicated data seamlessly. Interacting with Postgres Database visually is a game changer. Single click installations of their extensions make life easy and stress-free so I can work on the actual problem.

- Service has interval backups, so it adds another layer of protection for storing data of our clients
- It's easy to unite data from Google Analytics and custom CRM to work with big array of data of sales for one of our clients
- Support answered very detailed about how to integrate with their service and use their API

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Tembo as our main host and backup solution for storing data from Google Analytics of one of our clients, CRM system and other sources. Database contains different info about sales sources, user's behavior on website, different statistics about how well are selling goods on website. It's critical to have incremental backups and keep data safe and Tembo is reliable enough to solve this problem. SQL editor is a great tool to quickly check the integrity of the data and what's available.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Tembo.io for a couple of months, and it’s honestly made my life so much easier. The dashboard is simple to use, and the notifications keep me on track. The team collaboration features are great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
According to me nothing in Tembo is to dislike, Everything is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tembo lets me deploy my AI models for free. It saves me from paying for expensive hosting and complicated setups. I can quickly get my models up and running and focus on making them better, without worrying about the technical side of things. The platform is simple to use, and the tools available help me keep everything running smoothly.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use Interface which allows new users to easily get accustomed to this platform. Easy integration with PostgreSQL and AWS! But surely, their main selling point is their Simple yet intuitive User Interface which allows the non-tech nerds to understand and utilise this platform!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would suggest them to increase their Customer Support personnel so we can get faster responses. And obviously, we need more integration to cloud services! Just AWS is a bit of a blocker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data management is obviously a huge problem for companies of any scale. So, through Tembo, we are able to easily manage databases with their amazing and simplistic UI as well as their cloud integration of services like AWS and other such extensions! In conclusion, the cumbersome process of managing several Postgresql databases is being highly simplified through the use of Tembo!
