SFTPGo is a Managed File Transfer solution that abstracts storage backends and allows access to files using the standard SFTP, FTPS, and WebDAV protocols and the built-in WebClient over HTTPS.
This offer includes SFTPGo Enterprise, an enhanced version of the open-source SFTPGo, built upon its core functionality and designed for organizations that need advanced features and better performance.
The Premium tier is designed for deployments that require advanced features and greater flexibility. It includes all capabilities of the Starter tier, plus the following features:
No software-imposed limits on users or connections, with up to 100 concurrent uploads and downloads.
Automated users and admins provisioning after OpenID Connect login through the EventManager.
Metadata-Driven Workflow Execution.
Plugin for Geo-IP filtering via plugins.
Plugin for event publishing to systems like Amazon SNS, RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka, and other publish/subscribe platforms.
This tier is ideal for setups that require advanced integration, higher concurrency, and extended automation options.
For clustering and high-availability setups, please contact us to request a private offer.
With SFTPGo you can leverage local and cloud storage backends for exchanging and storing files internally or over the Internet using the same tools and processes you are already familiar with.
The WebAdmin UI allows administrators to easily create and manage users, folders, groups, and other resources. Available with dark and light themes.
The WebClient UI allows end users to change their credentials, browse and manage their files in the browser, and set up two-factor authentication which works with Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Authy, and other standard compliant apps.
From the WebClient each authorized user can also create HTTP/S links to externally share files and folders securely, by setting limits to the number of downloads/uploads, protecting the share with a password, limiting access by source IP address, setting an automatic expiration date. Available with dark and light themes.
Main features
Support for multiple protocols: SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, WebDAV.
Support for multiple storage backends: local filesystem, S3 (compatible), Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob, other SFTP servers.
Custom workflows based on server events or schedules.
Multi-factor and multi-step authentication.
Per-user and per-directory virtual permissions.
Virtual folders allow to map different storage backends, or part of them, to a specified path, so that the same user can transparently access different storage backends.
Groups simplify administration of multiple accounts by allowing administrators to assign settings once to a group, rather than multiple times to each individual user.
Configurable workflows based on server events or schedules. For example HTTP notifications or custom commands on file upload, download, and adding, updating, and deleting users.
Other notable features
REST API.
Accounts can be restricted to a specific portion of a bucket.
Public key, password and certificate authentication.
Let's Encrypt TLS certificates for HTTPS and FTPS/FTPES.
Branding: the Web UIs can be customized to match your brand.
Disk quota and bandwidth throttling.
Per protocol rate limiting.
Per-user and global IP filters.
Brute force protection.
Per-user and per-directory data retention rules to automatically delete old files.
Real-time monitor of active connections.
Configurable SFTP ciphers, host keys, key exchanges, message authentication codes and public key authentication algorithms.
Configurable TLS ciphers.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Try this product free for 10 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance you run SFTPGo Enterprise - Premium on. Each dimension maps to one AWS instance type, so pricing scales with the compute size you pick. Options span general-purpose (t3, t3a, m5a, m5ad), compute-optimized (c5, c5a, c5d, c5ad, c5n, c6a, c6i, c6id, c6in, c7a), and memory-optimized (r5, r5a, r6a, r6i, r7a) families. Sizes range from nano up to 2xlarge. Larger or higher-performance instances carry higher hourly rates. You choose based on your workload and concurrency needs. Billing is usage-based, with no fixed term commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit map to, and how is my software time counted?
Each dimension maps to one AWS EC2 instance type. You are billed per hour for each running instance of SFTPGo Enterprise - Premium. The rate matches the instance size you launch. The same binary runs across all instance types, so your choice reflects compute and concurrency needs, not feature differences.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or powered off?
Hourly software charges apply while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance does not accrue software charges. Underlying AWS storage or other resource fees may still apply for stopped instances, but the SFTPGo software meters running hours only.
Do larger instance types unlock more features, or only more capacity?
All instance types run the same SFTPGo Enterprise - Premium software with the same feature set. Larger or higher-performance instances provide more CPU and memory, supporting higher concurrency and throughput. You pick the size for capacity, not for extra capabilities. Premium supports up to 100 concurrent file transfers.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
To access SFTPGo after launching the AMI instance, simply open http://<instance IP>:8080/web/admin in your browser, create the first admin user and start using SFTPGo.
