Better understand and influence prescribing patterns with integrated provider and in-depth patient data from Carelon Research, the research arm of Elevance Health - one of the largest healthcare companies in the US.
Carelon Research was founded as HealthCore in 1996 to deliver data-driven insights that enhance decision making for life sciences and healthcare services organizations. We maintain the Healthcare Research Database (HIRD®), one of the largest and most comprehensive analysis-ready healthcare data resources, encompassing information from over 90 million patients dating back to 2006. In 2025, we launched Carelon Real World Data (CRWD), a certified de-identified subset of the HIRD, designed to help our clients generate meaningful evidence quickly and effectively.
