You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you run. Each dimension maps to a specific instance type across the t2, t3, t3a, m3, m4, and c3 families. Larger instances carry more compute, memory, and cost per hour, so your rate scales with the capacity you pick. You can match the instance to your workload's demands. All dimensions cover the same product: Langfuse deployment with security scans and 24/7 support. Choose the size that fits your usage, and billing accrues only for the hours you run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one billing unit represent for each of these dimensions?
Each dimension bills one running EC2 instance of that type per hour. One unit equals one hour of runtime for the instance size you select. Instance families like t2, t3, t3a, m3, m4, and c3 differ in compute and memory, which is why hourly rates vary.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or powered off?
Software charges accrue only while your instance runs. A stopped or fully powered-off instance does not accrue hourly software fees. Underlying AWS storage or other resource fees may still apply separately, but the Langfuse software meters running hours only.
What do I get with the hourly rate besides the Langfuse software itself?
Each hourly rate includes the Langfuse deployment plus continuous security scans and 24/7 support. Support offers a 30-minute response time and aims to resolve issues within 48 hours. The same coverage applies regardless of which instance size you run.
