The rate covers the software licence to run one TRUF NETWORK Node on a t3.medium instance size. This instance size provides a fixed compute and memory profile per running hour. Underlying AWS infrastructure charges for the instance are billed separately by AWS.
Software charges accrue only while the node runs, metered per hour. Fully stopped instances do not accrue software charges. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the software licence meters running time only.
Running the node lets you participate in the TRUF NETWORK, a decentralized data network. Node operators help support the network's data functions. Setup and operation instructions are in the node operator documentation. Any token-related participation is governed separately by the network's ecosystem rules.
