Overview
Run Streamlit 1.66.1 with a local sentiment starter on Ubuntu 24.04. Paste English text or a synthetic CSV, inspect predicted labels and class totals, and download saved JSON. The small Naive Bayes model learns from twelve original synthetic phrases. It is a teaching example, not a pretrained language model or a business decision system. The supplied workflow downloads no model and calls no external AI service.
Automatic first boot creates instance-specific credentials, cookie identity, configuration and empty SQLite state. The nonroot service listens on loopback port 8501. Use a Session Manager or SSH tunnel, sign in through the app form and use the actual text or CSV controls. The installed terminal workflow drives the running server over its WebSocket protocol, downloads the original JSON bytes and independently checks SQLite rows and recomputed probabilities. It does not substitute a fixture output for the served application.
Results, configuration and launch identity persist across service restart and reboot. Back up the state, identity and exported results consistently. Streamlit and the selected CPU Python packages are pinned; original wheels, source archives and component notices are delivered with the image. Streamlit uses Apache-2.0; other components retain their own licenses. Software Sushi independently supplies the package and starter; support from Streamlit or Snowflake is not included.
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for independent AMI packaging, maintenance and setup documentation. Software Sushi is an independent packager and claims no upstream or AWS endorsement.
Software costs USD 0.03 per running instance-hour. EC2, EBS and data transfer are billed separately. The supplied local starter has no model-provider usage charge. Installation support: info@softwaresushi.com .

64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Launch t3.medium with at least 4 GiB RAM and 32 GiB encrypted gp3 root storage. Require IMDSv2. Wait for automatic first boot. Connect through Session Manager, switch to ubuntu with sudo -iu ubuntu and run bash /opt/sushi/docs/demo.sh. Forward remote loopback port 8501 with AWS-StartPortForwardingSession and open http://127.0.0.1:8501 locally. Read ~/.config/sushi-streamlit/access.json only in an unrecorded shell, sign in and use the text/CSV forms and JSON download. CSV requires row_id,text, distinct IDs and 1-12 rows. Use sushi-streamlit verify on a saved JSON result. Back up /var/lib/streamlit, the access file and ~/streamlit-results together; replacing an AMI does not migrate a running instance. Read /opt/sushi/docs/README.md. No provider account or model usage charge is required by the local starter. Software costs USD 0.03 per running instance-hour. EC2, EBS and data transfer are billed separately. The supplied local starter has no model-provider usage charge.
