64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

installation Notes
Before you begin, please review the following important information about the installation and usage of Clever VPN on AWS EC2. This ensures compliance with AWS Marketplace's requirements.
Product Overview
Clever VPN is a VPN server cluster management solution that allows users to deploy and manage their own VPN servers on AWS EC2. The AMI available in the AWS Marketplace comes pre-installed with our VPN Cluster Server software, which facilitates secure communication with our platform.
Self-Service Deployment
This product is designed to be deployed in a self-service manner. The AMI provided includes all necessary software for setting up the VPN server on an EC2 instance. You will only need to input a unique activation token during installation to authenticate your VPN server.
VPN Server Requirements
Ensure that your VPN server meets the necessary system requirements for the VPN Cluster Server software. The VPN server must have a stable internet connection for secure communication with our platform.
Software Installation
Launch the EC2 instance using the provided AMI, which comes pre-configured with the VPN Cluster Server software. No additional installation steps are required for the software itself.
Token Generation
Each VPN server will be issued a unique token by our platform. This token acts as your VPN server's "passport" to connect to the platform. You will need this token during installation to authenticate the server.
Network Configuration
Ensure that your network allows WebSocket Secure (WSS) connections to our platform. The VPN server must establish a secure WSS connection for proper communication.
Platform Integration
Once the installation and activation are complete, your VPN server will automatically connect to our platform. You will be able to manage and monitor the server through our central control panel.
Security Considerations
Ensure that your VPN server's firewall and security settings allow outbound WSS connections. Restrictions may hinder the connection process.
Compliance
This product does not rely on external dependencies that incur additional costs. The setup is entirely self-contained within the EC2 environment, with no additional services or payment methods required beyond what is described.
install steps:
- Launch an EC2 instance using this AMI.
- After the instance is running, sign up or log in at https://www.clever-vpn.net Â
