SS&C's Financial Statement Reconciliation Agent performs end-to-end reconciliation processes for private equity firms and fund administrators, processing high volumes of statements, such as Private Equity Partner Capital Account Statements (PCAP), at a line-item level. When a statement is produced, the agent retrieves it and extracts the data using an in-house generative AI large language model (LLM). The AI model has been pretrained to work with statements in different structures and formats.

The next step is to compare statement line-item data to the accounting system, validate the comparison and create the reconciliation report. The client can then utilize human team members for exception handling and to review and approve the reconciliation report. All LLM access is via an AI governance component developed specifically to keep AI processing secure.
