Enhancing patient care with seamless access to legacy data anytime, anywhere.
Sustaining outdated legacy systems is neither scalable, secure, nor cost-effective. The path to achieving improved patient care begins by embracing a modern healthcare Legacy Data Archival, without draining the IT budget. Keystone Technologies offers an intuitive solution at a fraction of the cost, providing accessibility, security, and cost efficiency.
When transitioning to a new EHR system, basic healthcare data migration alone may not meet comprehensive data retention requirements. Often, migrated data is incomplete or not fully representative of the original records. Additionally, many vendors only offer to import a limited subset of data, frequently excluding detailed financial records. Keystone Technologies legacy data archival service addresses these gaps, providing a thorough and compliant solution to preserve not only essential medical and financial records but ALL patient data. Thus, ensuring a full picture of all patient historical data.
Purpose-built for healthcare organizations, the infrastructure supports a fully redundant architecture that caters to computing, storage, and security needs while complying with HIPAA and HITECH regulations.
Our team works closely with healthcare organizations of all sizes. We understand the importance of creating tailored solutions, intricate data landscapes, and the importance of staying nimble. When you are ready to archive legacy healthcare data, there are specific considerations you will need to make depending on whether you are retiring a mainframe, EHR or revenue cycle management system and we guide you at every step.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing prices legacy healthcare data archival by patient record volume, using three tiers. You pick the tier that matches your patient count. Tier 1 covers up to 10,000 patients. Tier 2 covers 10,001 to 100,000 patients. Tier 3 covers 100,001 to 200,000 patients. Each tier carries a one-time set-up fee, and the fee rises as the patient range grows. The tiers are mutually exclusive, so you select the single band that fits your archive size. This structure lets pricing scale with the amount of data you retire from inactive systems.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one patient for tier selection?
Each patient record retired from an inactive electronic health record system counts toward your total. You count the distinct patients whose data you archive, not the number of documents, images, or encounters per patient. Your combined patient count determines which single tier band applies.
Is the set-up fee one-time, or does it recur?
Each tier carries a one-time set-up fee, charged once for the archival engagement. It covers moving data no longer actively used into separate long-term storage. Your team retires legacy systems while retaining read-only access to archived patient records for compliance and Release of Information requests.
What happens if my patient count crosses into a higher tier band?
You select the single tier that matches your total patient count. The bands are mutually exclusive, so a count of 100,001 or more falls into Tier 3 in full, not split across bands. If your archive grows beyond your chosen band, contact the vendor to confirm the correct tier.
