    EOSDA Crop Monitoring - digital satellite-based one-stop precision agriculture platform for field monitoring. Classification of field crops is an essential part of agriculture as a business. EOSDA offers a fast and easy solution relying on years of experience in precision agriculture, as well as expertise in the application of AI-powered algorithms, and remote sensing.

    Overview

    Play video

    EOSDA Crop Monitoring is an online satellite-based precision agriculture platform for field monitoring created by EOS Data Analytics (EOSDA), a global provider of AI-powered satellite imagery analytics. The platform is a one-stop solution that integrates multiple types of data (crop health, weather conditions, crop rotation, field activities, elevation, soil moisture, and a host of other types) all in one place.

    Crop classification is classifying the land surface according to the type of crop growing in there. It is provided as geospatial information in raster or vector format.

    By combining Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data with optical imagery, we can assign a class to each type of crop recognized by a trained neural network in any area of interest and build a crop type map suitable to the customer`s needs.

    Keep abreast of the ag market trends with an accurate crop distribution map - plan your strategy smartly.

    Data required from client:

    • Area of interest in *.shp / *.kml / *.geojson (country, state, district, etc.);
    • List of crop types;
    • Agriculture calendar for each crop (planting date and harvesting);
    • Period of classification (season, months);
    • Ground-truth data (minimal 2-3% from AOI for each crop type).

    EOSDA solution model based on:

    • Time-series Sentinel 2 imagery;
    • Model-based on AI and neural network.

    Highlights

    • EOSDA Crop Monitoring Main Features: - Crop health maps; - Weather risk management; - Convenient notification system; - Scouting and task management; - Farm organizer and planner; - Access to historical and near-real time data via API.
    • Crop Classification Main Features: - Up to 90% accuracy; - Classification of crops for current and past seasons; - Model calculates total area of each crop on map.

    Dimensions summary

    This listing bundles two capabilities into one contract. You buy a single 2in1 Package that combines both services under one commitment. The package covers 3,000 hectares in the Crop Monitoring service and 10,000 hectares in the Crop Classification service. Pricing is based on land area, measured in hectares (ha), with a fixed allotment for each service. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from. You commit to the full package as one unit, so the two hectare allotments scale together rather than being purchased independently.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

    A hectare is a unit of land area equal to 10,000 square meters. The Crop Classification service applies its model to your area of interest, then delivers a classification raster mask, field boundary vector mask, and aggregated statistics. Fields smaller than 2 hectares and regions with heavy cloud cover fall outside reliable coverage.
    You buy one 2in1 Package, so both allotments bill together as a single unit. The 3,000-hectare Crop Monitoring allotment and 10,000-hectare Crop Classification allotment are not priced or purchased separately. Each service draws from its own hectare pool independently, but you commit to both under one contract.
    Crop Monitoring covers ongoing field tracking: vegetation indices, growth stages, weather forecasts, risk alerts, and variable-rate application maps across your fields. Crop Classification is a one-time analytics job that identifies crop types across your area of interest using full-season satellite imagery, delivering mask files and statistics rather than continuous monitoring.
