Amach Aviation AWS Landing Zone - Secure Cloud Foundation

     Info
    Sold by: Amach
Amach delivers a governed, aviation-specific AWS cloud foundation with pre-mapped compliance controls and AI-accelerated delivery that generic landing zone solutions cannot match. Implemented end-to-end by Amach's Professional Services team in as little as 6 weeks — a fraction of the time required to build an aviation-compliant cloud environment from scratch — the Aviation AWS Landing Zone provides airlines, airports, MROs, ground handlers, aircraft lessors, and cargo operators with a secure, compliant, multi-account environment from day one. Pre-configured with AWS Control Tower, IAM Identity Centre, and enterprise networking, it eliminates the complexity of cloud governance and security setup, enabling aviation organisations to focus on modernising operations, improving resilience, and driving innovation across mission-critical workloads.

    Overview

    Amach Aviation AWS Landing Zone

The Aviation AWS Landing Zone is a Professional Services engagement delivered end-to-end by Amach's certified AWS professionals. As an AWS Partner with deep aviation industry expertise, Amach implements a secure, compliant, and governed cloud foundation tailored to the operational and regulatory demands of the global aviation sector - covering airlines, airports, MROs, ground handlers, aircraft lessors, cargo operators, and component suppliers. Built on AWS best practices, the solution removes the complexity of multi-account design, security configuration, and governance setup - delivering a production-ready platform that goes beyond what generic solutions like the AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) provide by incorporating aviation-specific compliance frameworks, operational patterns, and regulatory controls from day one.

    Engagement Phases and Deliverables

The engagement spans three structured phases:

Phase 1 - Discovery and Design (Weeks 1–2)

    • Stakeholder workshops to capture requirements, compliance obligations, and integration needs
    • Target-state architecture design document covering multi-account structure, network topology, and security controls
    • Compliance mapping to aviation regulatory standards

Phase 2 - Build and Configuration (Weeks 3–5)

    • Deployed multi-account landing zone with governance guardrails
    • Network infrastructure with isolated environments and connectivity
    • Security baseline with encryption, logging, and continuous compliance monitoring
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repositories for all deployed components

Phase 3 - Knowledge Transfer and Handover (Week 6)

    • Operational runbooks and architecture documentation
    • Training sessions for internal cloud and operations teams
    • IaC repositories and compliance evidence packs handed over to client ownership

Amach's aviation credentials span the world's largest airline groups, including IAG and Lufthansa Groups. Typical engagements complete in 6 weeks — a fraction of the time required to build an aviation-compliant cloud environment from scratch.

    Key AWS Services

    • AWS Organizations - centralised account management, billing consolidation, and policy-based controls across aviation business units
    • AWS Control Tower - automated landing zone setup with guardrails enforcing compliance with aviation regulations
    • AWS IAM Identity Centre - secure, role-based access for staff, contractors, and partners
    • Amazon VPC and AWS Networking Services - isolated, secure network environments with fine-grained traffic control
    • AWS CloudTrail and Amazon CloudWatch - detailed logging, monitoring, and audit readiness
    • AWS KMS and AWS Config - encryption enforcement, continuous compliance monitoring, and configuration oversight
    • Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, and Amazon RDS - enabling innovation while maintaining resilience and compliance

AI-Accelerated Deployment with Claude Code and Kiro

Amach's team uses Claude Code (Anthropic's agentic AI coding CLI) and Kiro (AWS's spec-driven agentic IDE) to accelerate deployment. Both tools natively understand HCL, YAML, and Python, enabling faster configuration of landing zone components and aviation-specific extensions without compromising governance. These tools are also available to client engineering teams post-handover for continued rapid iteration.

    Scope and Prerequisites

    What buyers must provide:

    • An existing AWS account (or willingness to create one)
    • Nominated technical stakeholders available for discovery workshops
    • Details of existing identity providers and network connectivity requirements
    • Relevant compliance documentation and regulatory obligations

Available as a bundle with the Landing Zone:

    • Application migration and/or modernisation

    What is excluded:

    • Ongoing managed services (available separately)
    • Third-party tool licensing

    Aviation Use Cases

    • Passenger Disruption Management - integrate operational data with analytics to manage delays and re-bookings in real time
    • Predictive Maintenance - monitor aircraft health and predict component failures using IoT and analytics services
    • Cargo Tracking and Security - streamline global cargo operations with secure data sharing and automated compliance reporting
    • Ground Operations Optimisation - improve resource allocation and turnaround times through centralised, data-driven platforms
    • Leasing and Asset Management - securely manage aircraft records and leasing agreements with partners and regulators
    • Supply Chain Integration - connect component suppliers, MROs, and operators through a unified cloud environment

The Aviation AWS Landing Zone provides a proven foundation for mission-critical workloads and aviation-specific applications — empowering organisations to strengthen security, maintain compliance, and accelerate digital transformation.
