The Jumpstart service allows customers to implement OpenIAM for their Customer IAM requirements. The engagement can be tailored to include a combination of: Self registration and other user on-boarding methods, delegated user administration, MFA, consent management, Request/Approval, and SSO.
Overview
The OpenIAM Customer IAM (CIAM) Jumpstart Service is a six-week engagement where OpenIAM team members will work closely with the customer to implement critical, previously defined, use cases and deliver a solution into production. The scope of the Jumpstart can be customized to include a combination of the items described under Deliverables.
Deliverables:
- Requirements definition
- Migration or bulk loading of existing users for a source system supported by the current list of connectors
- Configure a Self-registration or other user-on boarding methods
- Implement self-service portal branding requirements
- Configure consent management
- Implement authentication policies including MFA based on SMS or E-mail based OTP or FIDO 2 compliant device.
- Request / approval functionality for selected target systems
- Configure UAR for either the selected applications or imported users for the authoritative source system
- SSO for up to five (5) applications using either SAML 2, oAuth 2 or OIDC
- Self-service forgot password with password sync for the selected applications
- Configure up to five (5) business roles
- Configure up to fine (5) business rules using the OpenIAM business rules engine
- User Acceptance Testing
- Go-live
Note:
- The integration options are limited to the connectors listed in the connector section (Custom connector development is not part of the Jump-start service)
- The duration of this service is normally 6 to 8 weeks. The scope of the service can be expanded to include additional applications which may in turn impact the duration and cost of the service.
