Try this product free for 7 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.

See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run. The software itself carries no separate license fee, so your hourly charge reflects the chosen instance type. Options span several instance families: general-purpose (m, t), compute-optimized (c), memory-optimized (r), and storage-optimized (i7i). Within each family, sizes range from nano and micro up to 2xlarge. Larger sizes give more CPU, memory, or storage and cost more per hour. Pick the size that fits your workload, and scale by switching instance types. Billing stops when you stop the instance.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I get for the hourly charge, and what is NOT included in that price?
You get a preconfigured XOOPS web platform running on your chosen EC2 instance size. It includes the XOOPS 2.7 setup, a database admin frontend, SSL support, and a web control panel. The software adds no license fee. You pay separately for the underlying AWS EC2 and storage usage.
Am I charged when the EC2 instance is stopped or paused?
The hourly software charge meters running time only, so it stops when you stop the instance. However, stopped instances may still accrue AWS storage fees for attached volumes. Note that AWS instances change their IP when stopped and restarted unless you attach a static Elastic IP.
How do I scale between instance sizes, and does my site data carry over?
You switch instance types to scale CPU, memory, or storage. Each type bills at its own hourly rate. A built-in backup and migration tool saves files, databases, and package changes to encrypted storage. You can restore to a new server from that backup when moving sizes.
