Overview
The Pinnacle AMSL/HAE2HAT API is offered to enable the conversion of AMSL or HAE provided by wireless carriers or devices to HAT. Designed for Public and Private Safety users, this API provides HAT as a meaningful vertical location context for devices. While HAE or MSL are a convenient representation of the earth in a measurement system, it is not practical for 9-1-1 call takers and dispatchers to understand the actual elevation for locating 9-1-1 callers nor locating First Responders. In order to provide actionable Z-axis location and context, HAE or AMSL should be converted to Height Above Terrain (HAT). Private Offers Available, please contact NextNav for Tiered Pricing.
Highlights
- Translates incoming 911 vertical location (Z-axis) raw data into actionable Height Above Terrain (HAT) - Benefits all Emergency Communication Centers
- Delivers Z-axis data in a single payload with the 911 call
- Easy integration making speed to market quick, painless and customer-friendly
