SmoothGlue Run is a powerful Kubernetes-based DevSecOps Platform Suite. It enables dev teams to build mission-critical apps securely, with flexibility to scale and adapt to new demands.
SmoothGlue Run is a comprehensive DevSecOps platform designed to ensure resilient, scalable, reliable, and secure software delivery for any project regardless of size, industry or regulatory roadblock. It offers an immediate head start with pre-configured tools and the flexibility to extend capabilities with additional add-ons.
Our expert team at BrainGu meticulously integrates and secures a wide range of technologies from the CNCF Landscape and beyond, enabling you to focus on developing your applications, rather than platform setup. This means you can bypass the lengthy process of researching, designing, building, and securing a custom platform from scratch.
Running on AWS, SmoothGlue Run provides a complete environment for deploying, running and managing containerized applications. It includes enterprise-grade Linux, container runtime, networking, monitoring, container registry, and authorization solutions, all seamlessly integrated for unified operations.
One of the biggest challenges for cloud-native developers is getting applications to production and in the hands of end users. Smoothglue Run addresses this by offering a streamlined path to deployment, minimizing time and effort spent on resolving security and compliance issues.
BrainGu has distilled decades of experience solving complex problems for large organizations into SmoothGlue Run, allowing you to focus on your core mission. Our platform includes essential features like single sign-on, monitoring, logging, policy-as-code, and runtime security, enabling you to bring your ideas to market with confidence in the security and scalability of your applications.

This is a free listing, so the software itself carries no license charge. You pick from ten AWS EC2 instance types, all at the 4xlarge size. They fall into two families: general-purpose (m-series) and compute-optimized (c-series), spanning several hardware generations. Each option is billed by the hour based on the instance you run. Your cost depends only on which instance type you choose and how long it runs. Newer generations and different processor architectures give you a way to match performance and infrastructure cost to your workload. Select the instance that fits your capacity needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I actually get for the hourly rate on each instance type?
You get one running EC2 instance at the 4xlarge size, which is 16 virtual CPUs. The software license is free, so the hourly charge reflects the instance you select. m-series options are general-purpose; c-series options are compute-optimized for CPU-heavy work.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or paused?
Hourly charges apply only while the instance is running. Stopped instances do not accrue software charges. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes. The meter counts running hours, so pausing work reduces your cost.
Do I pay separately for the platform features listed on the SmoothGlue website?
This is a free listing, so the software itself carries no license charge. The platform capabilities for delivery, operations, and compliance come with the running instance. Your only cost is the hourly rate for the EC2 instance type you choose.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
