Overview Listmonk is the popular open source, self-hosted newsletter and mailing-list manager - manage subscribers and lists, design and send campaigns and transactional email through your own SMTP at high throughput, and track opens and clicks. This image delivers Listmonk fully installed and configured, so a private email platform is running within minutes of launch. The current release available is Listmonk 6.
Application Stack The Listmonk server runs behind nginx as a reverse proxy. PostgreSQL is the datastore for subscribers, lists, campaigns and analytics. The server and database bind to the loopback interface.
Secure By Default On the first boot of your instance a one-shot service initialises the database and creates a single super-administrator account with a per-instance password, written to a root only file, and generates a fresh PostgreSQL password. No shared or default credentials ship in the image.
Bring Your Own SMTP The image ships no email-sending credentials. Sign in as the administrator and configure an SMTP server - Amazon SES or any provider - under Settings to start sending campaigns to your subscribers.
cloudimg Support 24/7 technical support by email and chat for deployment, SMTP and deliverability configuration, upgrades, TLS termination and database administration.

Usage instructions
Connect via SSH on port 22 as the default login user for your operating system variant (the user guide lists it per variant; on Ubuntu it is 'ubuntu'). Listmonk is served on port 80 through nginx (the server listens on 127.0.0.1:9000). Retrieve the generated administrator login with: sudo cat /root/listmonk-credentials.txt. Browse to http://<instance-public-ip>/admin and sign in with the username and password shown. The health endpoint http://<instance-public-ip>/health is open and returns JSON. Services are managed with systemctl (listmonk, postgresql, nginx). The image ships no SMTP credentials - configure them in Settings after signing in. To enable HTTPS, follow the Let's Encrypt section of the user guide.
