Overview
The CirrusHQ AI Maturity Assessment is a structured 3–4 week assessment that benchmarks an organisation's AI readiness, identifies the highest-value use cases, and produces an executable 12-month AI roadmap and business case.
What is assessed. Six dimensions, each scored 1–5 against AWS and industry frameworks:
- Strategy - executive sponsorship, AI ambition, target operating model, ROI thesis.
- Data - data estate, data quality, data governance, data residency.
- Platform - AWS foundation, Bedrock and SageMaker readiness, networking and security posture.
- MLOps and LLMOps - model lifecycle, evaluation, observability, deployment.
- Governance - Responsible AI, EU AI Act readiness, audit and risk controls.
- People - skills, organisation, change capacity, vendor and partner posture.
Frameworks used. The assessment is anchored on the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework for AI/ML, the AWS Well-Architected Framework Machine Learning Lens, the AWS Generative AI Security Scoping Matrix, and the EU AI Act risk-tier framework.
What is delivered.
- A scored 1–5 maturity baseline across the six dimensions, with peer benchmarking against UK industry comparators.
- A prioritised use-case backlog with effort, value and risk scoring.
- A 12-month AI roadmap mapped against AWS funding programmes (Generative AI Innovation Centre, MAP, Modernisation programs) where eligible.
- A funding-aligned business case with quantified ROI and unit economics targets.
- An executive readout to CIO/CTO, CFO and board.
Natural next step. The Assessment feeds directly into one of CirrusHQ's other AI Marketplace offerings - Agentic AI Accelerator, AI Landing Zone, or AI FinOps Accelerator - and the funding identified in the Assessment is applied to that engagement.
Who buys this. CIO/CTO, Head of Data and AI, Chief Digital Officer, or transformation programme lead - typically in organisations that have started AI experimentation but lack a coherent enterprise-wide plan and need an objective, AWS-aligned baseline.
