Dimensions summary
You pay per AWS account, and you pick a service level for each account. Three tiers are available: Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise. Each tier is billed by the number of accounts you assign to it, so your cost scales with account count. You can mix tiers across your estate, matching each account to the level of monitoring it needs. Standard suits development and test accounts, while Advanced fits production accounts. Billing runs through your existing AWS account, and spend counts toward your AWS commitments.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each unit is one AWS account assigned to that tier. You are billed per account, per tier. If you place three accounts in Standard and two in Advanced, you pay for three Standard units and two Advanced units. Pricing is calculated on a 30-day month.
Yes. You assign a tier to each account independently. Your bill adds up the accounts in each tier separately. Standard fits development and test accounts, while Advanced fits production accounts. Moving an account to a higher tier changes only that account's charge, not the others.
Standard covers cost analytics and security scanning against frameworks like CIS and Well-Architected. Advanced adds scanning against ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and other industry frameworks, plus login tracking, software inventory, vulnerability detection, and error tracking. You match each account to the monitoring level it needs.
