You buy Amagi CLOUDPORT under a contract, priced per feed. A feed is one channel you play out through the platform. Both dimensions scale with the number of feeds you subscribe to, so your cost rises as you add feeds. The two options differ by scope. Playout Subscription per Feed (License Only) covers the software license for each feed. Playout Subscription per Feed covers the playout service for each feed. Choose the option that matches whether you need the license alone or the running playout service, then set your feed count.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one feed for billing purposes?
A feed is one channel you play out through the platform. Each channel you originate, whether linear TV, FAST, or a regional variant, counts as one feed. Your subscription scales with the number of feeds you run, so adding more channels adds more feed units to your count.
What is the difference between the License Only feed and the standard feed subscription?
Playout Subscription per Feed (License Only) charges for the software license alone for each feed. Playout Subscription per Feed charges for the running playout service for each feed. Both bill per feed and scale with feed count. Pick the one matching whether you need the license by itself or the operating playout service.
If I add channels during my term, how does my cost change?
Both dimensions bill per feed, so cost rises with each feed you add. Adding a channel adds one feed unit under your chosen subscription type. The charge applies to each feed you subscribe to, meaning your total scales directly with the number of channels you run.
