Overview
Dagen is the data control plane for AI on AWS. Enterprises stuck on legacy warehouses, Informatica, Talend, Oracle, and other stranded estates use Dagen to map what they have, move data to Apache Iceberg on Amazon S3, and recreate pipelines and transformations so workloads run on services they already trust (S3, Glue, EMR, and Athena) inside their own AWS account.
Unlike tools that pull data into a third-party runtime, Dagen leaves ownership with the customer. Data stays in the customer account, governed under their IAM, encryption, and networking controls. Agents and operators work against that customer-owned Iceberg estate, so AI and analytics initiatives start from data that is already on AWS rather than another migration wave.
Deploy from AWS Marketplace as Bring Your Own License (BYOL). Marketplace charges only for the underlying AWS infrastructure you use. Start with one estate, put the first production workload on Iceberg, then expand in waves as more pipelines and agent use cases land on AWS.

AWS Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. However, the cancellation won't affect the status of the external license.

Usage instructions
- Launch the EC2 instance using the vendor-recommended type (t3.2xlarge) or another listed x86_64 size.
- Allow inbound HTTPS (TCP 443) from your network or 0.0.0.0/0 if the UI must be public. Do not leave SSH (TCP 22) open to 0.0.0.0/0.
- When the instance is running, open a browser to https://<EC2-PUBLIC-DNS-OR-IP>/
- Complete initial setup and connect your data platforms. Prefer Apache Iceberg on Amazon S3 with Glue, EMR, and Athena in your AWS account.
- SSH is optional for admin only; restrict it to a known corporate CIDR. Normal use is through the HTTPS UI.
