EKACOST is an AWS Cost Intelligence platform that unifies cost visibility across multiple AWS accounts and organizations. It detects savings opportunities with AI findings, answers cost questions in natural language, and compares AWS-native and third-party architecture options with real pricing data. Built for consulting firms, FinOps teams, and engineering leaders who need cost transparency without compromising security.
EKACOST gives engineering and FinOps teams a single dashboard across all AWS accounts, even when those accounts belong to different AWS Organizations. Instead of logging into each account separately, teams see total spend, service-level breakdowns, and cost trends in one place. This is especially valuable for consulting firms and managed service providers who manage AWS environments for multiple clients and need a unified view without switching between consoles.
The platform runs AI-powered cost analysis on every connected account. Users control when the analysis runs and choose the depth of analysis between Light, Standard, and Advanced, giving full control over thoroughness and cost. Each analysis identifies concrete savings opportunities with exact resource names, estimated monthly savings from real billing data, and step-by-step remediation instructions. A conversational interface lets anyone ask cost questions in natural language, such as "Why did our S3 costs spike last month?" or "Which client had the biggest month-over-month change?", and get answers grounded in actual CUR and Cost Explorer data.
The Architecture Advisor sets EKACOST apart from every other FinOps tool. Users describe what they want to build or change, and the advisor returns 2-4 architecture options with estimated monthly costs, pros and cons, migration effort, and full architecture diagrams with AWS service icons. It inspects the customer's live infrastructure for precise estimates and compares AWS-native services against third-party alternatives with real pricing data. EKACOST connects to customer accounts using a strict read-only IAM policy based on AWS ViewOnlyAccess. It structurally cannot access customer user data such as S3 object contents, DynamoDB items, or database records. Security is enforced by IAM policy design, not by convention.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
EKACOST pricing splits into two parts. First, you pay a monthly platform fee for each connected AWS account. This is a flat charge tied to how many accounts you link. Second, you pay for AI usage metered per 1,000 tokens. The AI charges come in three depth levels: Light, Standard, and Advanced. Each level covers cost analysis, chat, and advisor functions, but at a different processing depth. You can combine the account fee with any mix of AI depth usage. Charges scale with the number of accounts and the volume of AI tokens you consume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one connected AWS account for the monthly platform fee?
Each AWS account you link to EKACOST counts as one unit. The platform fee applies per account per month. If you connect several accounts across your organization, the fee multiplies by the number connected. Adding or removing accounts changes what you pay for that dimension.
How do the AI token charges combine with the connected account fee on my bill?
Both charges apply at the same time on one invoice. The account fee is fixed per connected account each month. AI charges vary with how many 1,000-token blocks you use across Light, Standard, and Advanced depths. Your account count usually stays steady, while AI usage rises and falls with activity.
Do I pay more per token as I move from Light to Standard to Advanced depth?
Each depth level is billed separately per 1,000 tokens for the same cost analysis, chat, and advisor functions. The difference is processing depth, not the function set. You choose the depth per request, so your bill reflects the mix of depths you actually use. See the pricing table for each rate.
