Overview
The underwriting workbench for specialty insurance
InsureAI gives MGAs, coverholders, syndicates and P&I clubs one modern platform for the work between a broker's submission and a settled premium. It replaces re-keying, spreadsheets and email chasing with a single trusted record of each risk, and a clear next step for every person in the team.
Submissions read with evidence Broker emails and every attachment (MRC slips, ACORD forms, PDFs, scans, spreadsheets, Word documents) are read automatically into structured data. Every value shows the exact words and page it came from. Where documents disagree, the underwriter sees one clear question with InsureAI's suggestion. Fleet lists, IMO checks and five-year loss records are analysed for marine, cargo and P&I business.
Your appetite, your authority Your appetite rules and each underwriter's authority are applied to every submission. Anything beyond authority is referred to the right person with the reason. Nobody approves their own referral, and every decision is recorded.
From quote to bind Prepare and issue quotes (or import your rating sheet), keep every version through the negotiation, record the broker's firm order with its evidence, and bind on a checklist. Brokers can give their firm order from their own secure login, seeing only their own business.
Premiums, cash and reporting Binding creates the premium schedule. InsureAI tracks what is paid and what isn't, alerts on premium payment warranties, and matches cash from your accounting system (Xero today), with a second person confirming every match. Premium and claims bordereaux are produced in the Lloyd's Coverholder Reporting Standards v5.2 layout, with any gaps shown before you send.
The Data Spine: data you can trust Everything captured flows into the InsureAI Data Spine, a single record per risk aligned to ACORD, the MRC, Lloyd's CRS and the Core Data Record. A trust scorecard shows how complete and verified your book is, and Ask the Data Spine answers questions about the whole book in plain English.
Built for the people who use it Every screen leads with the next action. Help and Ask InsureAI are on every page. Roles and responsibilities follow your firm's structure, with segregation of duties enforced by the platform, not by policy documents. It is designed for modern devices and works beautifully on tablets, including the iPad.
Secure, cloud native, no rip and replace InsureAI runs on AWS in London, with each customer in its own secure tenant, encryption throughout and a full audit trail. There is nothing to install or upgrade, and no servers for your IT team to run. It works alongside your policy administration system and placement platforms such as Whitespace, so you can start with submission intake and underwriting and grow from there.
Who it is for MGAs and Lloyd's coverholders, syndicate underwriting teams, P&I clubs and specialty insurers that want faster, better-controlled underwriting and audit-ready data without replacing the systems they rely on.
