AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on a fixed subscription cost and actual usage of the product. You pay the same amount each billing period for access, plus an additional amount according to how much you consume. The fixed subscription cost is prorated, so you're only charged for the number of days you've been subscribed. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for BridgeLink Developer Edition, an open-source integration engine that connects healthcare software systems. Pricing follows the AWS EC2 instance you choose to run the software. Each dimension maps to a specific instance type, billed per hour of use. Smaller instances suit light development or testing, while larger instances handle heavier processing and memory needs. Your cost scales with the size and family of instance you select. There are no tiers or upfront commitments; you pay only for the hours each instance runs. This edition is eligible for the AWS Free Tier.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly charge cover, and what determines the rate?
Each charge covers one running EC2 instance for one hour. The rate depends on the instance type you pick. Instance families differ in CPU, memory, storage, and specialized hardware. Larger instances within a family carry more resources. You choose the instance that matches your workload, and the hourly rate follows that choice.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges accrue only while an instance runs. A fully stopped instance does not incur hourly software fees. Stopped instances may still generate underlying AWS storage charges for attached volumes, but the software meter counts running hours only. You pay for the hours each instance is active.
Do I commit upfront, or pay only for what I use?
You pay only for the hours each instance runs. There are no tiers, upfront commitments, or fixed subscription fees. Billing meters actual instance-hours as they accrue. This model suits variable development and testing workloads where usage starts and stops. Stop the instance and hourly software charges stop.

CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."
