Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This contract combines two pricing dimensions. Product Access grants your subscription to the API and unlocks the data. Usage per 100 bytes charges for the data you actually pull, measured in 100-byte increments of API responses. So your cost has two parts: a base access component plus consumption that scales with how much you query. The more requests you make, the more usage units accrue. Both dimensions apply together under one contract term, giving you entry to the API and metered billing for ongoing use.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each usage unit measures 100 bytes of data returned through the API. The API uses a GraphQL query structure, so your response size depends on the fields you request. Larger responses with more metadata fields accrue more 100-byte units than narrow queries returning fewer fields.
Product Access is a base component that unlocks the API for subscribers. Usage per 100 bytes scales with how much data you pull. Both apply together on one invoice. For high-query integrations, the usage component grows and can dominate. Low-volume use keeps usage charges small.
Yes. The usage dimension meters response size in 100-byte increments, so pulling more data raises usage units automatically. Broad queries across the metadata catalog of over 12 million titles return more bytes and accrue more units. Product Access stays constant regardless of query volume.
