Websoft9 is a lightweight, self-hosting PaaS that allows you to deploy multiple applications on your own cloud infrastructure. It employs a GitOps approach and includes an integrated app store that supports one-click deployment of over 200 template applications, as well as the ability to deploy custom applications. Users have complete autonomy, ensuring that applications can be easily configured and continuously deployed even after they are live. Additionally, the web-based interface allows users to effortlessly perform tasks such as domain binding, HTTPS setup, access control, and status monitoring.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the software running on an Amazon EC2 instance. Pricing is not a set of tiers or feature bundles. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific EC2 instance type, such as t2.micro, m5.large, or x1e.32xlarge. Your hourly rate depends on which instance size you pick. Smaller instances carry lower compute capacity, while larger instances offer more CPU, memory, or GPU resources. This runtime deploys Ruby applications on the chosen instance. Billing runs on usage, so you can start or stop the instance as needed.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension bills per hour of one running Amazon EC2 instance of the named type. For example, t2.micro or m5.large each count as one instance. You pay the hourly software rate for every hour that instance runs, multiplied by how many instances of that type you launch.
The software rate meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue hourly software charges. You may still owe underlying AWS fees, such as storage for the attached volume, but the software licence bills only while the instance runs.
The runtime provides the Ruby interpreter with the gem, bundle, and rake command-line tools. It supports common web frameworks and application servers for deploying Ruby applications. These components run on whichever EC2 instance type you select, at that instance's hourly rate.

Usage instructions
Once the instance is running, enter the http://Public DNS:9000 provided by AWS into your browser. You will then see the Websoft9 Console.
And refer to the following steps to get started:
- Use SSH to connect your AWS EC2 by user ubuntu
- Run command 'sudo usermod -aG docker ubuntu && sudo passwd ubuntu' to set password and permisson for this user
- Use your EC2 username 'ubuntu' and password to log in Websoft9 Console.
- Go to the "App Store" in the Websoft9 Console and install Ruby with a one-click.
- Once installation is complete, go to "My Apps" to get the port, access url and credentials of Ruby.
