Pricing and entitlements for this product are managed outside of AWS Marketplace through an external billing relationship between you and the vendor. You activate the product by supplying an existing license purchased outside of AWS Marketplace, while AWS provides the infrastructure required to launch the product. Subscriptions have no end date and may be cancelled any time. However, the cancellation won't affect the status of an active license if it was purchased outside of AWS Marketplace.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions

After launching the instance you can verify that the NCache service is up and running. Run the following command (without quotes) to verify the status of NCache service 'sudo systemctl status ncached'.

To allow NCache to communicate with other NCache instances (servers or clients) you need to open following TCP ports in firewall settings e.g TCP port: 8250 (Default TCP port for PowerShell cmdlets and NCache service) TCP port: 8251 (Default TCP port for NCache Management Center) TCP port: 9800 (Default TCP port for cache client's and server communication) TCP port: 7800-7900 (Default TCP cluster-port for inter cluster communication) TCP port: 8300-8400 (Default TCP port range for cache management)

If you have configured your instances with public ip, you can also access NCache Managment Center through web borwser at https://<EC2_Instance_Public_DNS>. You can access this EC2 instance through SSH client using the following UserName: ubuntu
