Chatbot Demo Video
Business Compass AI Chatbot turns your existing content into a 24/7 AI assistant that deflects repetitive questions and gives visitors instant, trustworthy answers.
How It Works
The chatbot uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) on Amazon Bedrock to answer only from your approved sources - your website (via automated crawling) and uploaded documents such as PDF, Word, and Excel. Because it never reaches for the open internet, responses stay on-brand and grounded. Built-in Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, PII handling, and an admin-managed topic blocklist keep responses safe and in scope.
No-Code Admin Console
A full admin console puts your team in control without writing code:
- Manage the knowledge base (add, remove, or update sources)
- Review conversations and transcripts
- Capture thumbs-up and thumbs-down feedback
- Monitor usage analytics
- Configure white-label branding (name, colors, greeting, and suggested questions)
- Export a complete audit log for compliance reviews
Embeddable Chat Widget
The widget drops onto any site or CMS with a single script tag. It supports automatic multilingual conversations via Amazon Translate, offers voice input, and can hand off to a live agent when needed.
Example Use Case
A university admissions office receives thousands of repetitive questions about financial aid, deadlines, and application requirements during enrollment season. The chatbot widget is embedded on the admissions FAQ page with the knowledge base loaded from the current PDF student handbook and website content. Prospective students get instant, accurate answers around the clock, reducing the volume of repetitive inquiries reaching staff and freeing advisors to handle complex cases.
Deployment and Architecture
Delivered as an AWS CloudFormation stack that deploys entirely into your own AWS account, the product gives you complete data ownership and privacy - a clean fit for education, government, healthcare, and other regulated sectors. The serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon S3, Amazon Translate) means no servers to manage and automatic scaling.
Prerequisites and Requirements
- An active AWS account with access to Amazon Bedrock in a supported region
- IAM permissions to deploy CloudFormation stacks, create Lambda functions, and provision S3 buckets
- Amazon Bedrock model access enabled for your chosen foundation model
- A website or document set to serve as the chatbot's knowledge base
Getting Started
- Subscribe through AWS Marketplace
- Launch the CloudFormation stack in your AWS account
- Configure the admin console (branding, greeting, suggested questions)
- Add your knowledge sources (crawl your website or upload documents)
- Embed the widget on your site with the provided script tag
The product is designed to go from deployment to first live response quickly, with no infrastructure provisioning required beyond the initial stack launch.
Highlights
- Accurate, on-brand answers from only your content. RAG on Amazon Bedrock ensures the chatbot responds exclusively from your approved sources - website pages and uploaded documents (PDF, Word, Excel). Built-in Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, PII protection, and an admin-managed topic blocklist prevent open-internet hallucination and keep every response safe, compliant, and in scope.
- Embed anywhere in minutes and manage with no code. A single script tag places the chat widget on any website or CMS. The full admin console lets your team manage knowledge sources, review transcripts, capture user feedback, monitor analytics, configure white-label branding, and export audit logs - all without developer involvement.
- Deploys into your own AWS account for complete data ownership. The serverless CloudFormation stack (Lambda, Bedrock, S3, Translate) requires no servers to manage and scales automatically. Multilingual support and live-agent handoff are included out of the box, making it well suited for education, government, healthcare, and other regulated sectors.

Container image
Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.

Prerequisites
- An AWS account with Amazon Bedrock model access enabled in your deployment region for Anthropic Claude and Amazon Titan Text Embeddings. Enable these once in the Amazon Bedrock console under "Model access" (Anthropic models may require a short use-case form).
- Recommended region: US East (N. Virginia), us-east-1.
- Permission to create the template's resources (IAM roles, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Cognito, Amazon S3, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon DynamoDB, and AWS Fargate).
Launch the product
- From this deployment option, choose Launch. The preconfigured CloudFormation template opens in the AWS CloudFormation console in your own account.

After launch
- Confirm the subscription emails sent to your AlertEmail and AdminEmail so notifications are delivered.
- On the stack Outputs tab, open WebUrl to reach the admin console.
- Sign in with your AdminEmail and the temporary password Amazon Cognito emailed you, then set a new password.
