Overview
Corios Analytics Modernization Platform (AMP) guides enterprise organizations through their journey from legacy SAS to modern, future-proof platforms, like Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Analytics Modernization Platform consists of software accelerator tools and unique methodologies that facilitate the full migration of SAS workloads to open-source languages and frameworks on cloud native data and analytic platforms like AWS. - Migrate and modernize your legacy SAS analytics workloads to the Amazon cloud with Corios Analytics Modernization Platform - Converting legacy SAS to modern platforms - Analyze and inventory legacy SAS workloads - Converting SAS workloads to modern languages and platforms - Well-planned migration roadmap - Converting SAS workloads to open-source languages The migration process begins with the Corios Scanner, which inventories and analyzes the SAS environment to create a detailed roadmap of timeframes and resources for a full SAS migration project. The Corios Translator then converts SAS workloads to Python, PySpark, or SQL, with the added capability to convert SAS Enterprise Guide projects to alternative Visual Recipes tools. The Code Converter converts proprietary SAS data sets to the fully open parquet format. The Validator ensures accurate workload conversion through the user acceptance testing (UAT) process. The Corios Academy is an online, self-paced course which upskills SAS users to work with modern languages and cloud-based platforms, drawing upon the users SAS knowledge as a foundation. Many SAS users and developers have over time (often decades) created complex end to end processes, all within single programs, which into todays world, limits their organizations data governance capabilities and the ability to innovate at scale. By contracts, modern platforms encourage collaboration, share process and data, offer full data lineage and transparency and avoid operational risks previously acute with key-person risk. AMP facilitates this critical cultural shift, equipping teams with the tools and methodologies needed to thrive in AI-driven ecosystems, fostering innovation through collaboration and diverse skill sets.

Highlights
- After analyzing over 1 billion lines of SAS code, we discovered that 81% of workloads are dedicated to data management. By migrating and modernizing SAS environments to platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), we achieve a 25-35% reduction in data management tasks. This reallocation of resources enables a 20-25% increase in the utilization of advanced analytics and generative AI, driving greater innovation and efficiency.
- Our health care insurance client wanted to migrate its Revenue Integrity workload from on0premises SAS to Amazon glue. Corios let the data engineering and migration engagement as a partner with AWS ProServ. The workload was converted to Glue in 7 weeks, saving the client 8 FTEs of lost productivity annually, and improving regulatory filing accuracy (and claims cost recovery) by 30%.
- Our credit card baking client wanted to update their first part fraud predictive scorecard to improve its accuracy and to migrate it to the AWS cloud. Corios improved the predictive model by 12%, and also migrated it to Amazon Glue (for data pipeline) and Sagemaker (for machine learning).
